Jade in Honkai Star Rail: guide to the best builds

    Zorthrus

In Honkai: Star Rail Jade is 5 star character, who has a Quantum type of combat and belongs to the path of Erudite. In a squad, she can play the role of a primary or secondary damage dealer with bonus attacks. In this guide we will tell you about her best builds, light cones And relics. You will also learn about recommended commands with it.

Note: KMM TOP Manager has not yet been officially released, so the data presented here is based on information obtained as part of beta testing. If necessary, we will update the guide when the heroine appears in the game.

    Main features of Jade

    How to get Jasper

This heroine can only be obtained during the event Jump. In the near future, the corresponding banner will be launched as part of the second phase of patch 2.3 (July 10). If you want to be one of the first to know about her next rerun, we advise you to bookmark this article.

Let’s add that HoYoverse only once gave a 5-star character in honor of winning the nomination for “best mobile game of the year” and never for completing various events, so it is highly likely that you will be able to unlock this TOP KMM manager only with the help of Jumps.

    Progression of Jasper characteristics

In the table below you can see how the heroine's basic parameters change as her level increases.

Level Attack Power Protection HP Speed
    1 90 69 148 103
    20 175 135 288 103
    40 337 260 554 103
    60 498 385 821 103
    80 660 509 1087 103

Note that her critical damage, critical hit chance and taunt are 50%, 5% and 75 units respectively at any level, and her energy reserve is 140 units.

    Advantages and disadvantages of Jasper

Thanks to her unique abilities, Jasper can quickly destroy large groups of opponents. Its advantages also include:

    • An excellent damage dealer for dealing massive damage to enemies, because even her basic attack hits several enemies at once. For this reason, it is great for clearing levels. "Pure Fiction", where you have to deal with constant waves of enemies.
    • Good for teams with two damage dealers, as she can buff her teammates, increasing their speed and giving them additional quantum damage.
    • Under certain conditions, he can play the role of a hypercarry in a squad, supported by two supports. The ideal option would be buffers that enhance bonus attacks.
    • She is able to independently strengthen herself during battle, increasing her critical damage and attack power.
    • Saves skill points, since Jasper only needs to use the skill once every three turns.
    • It does not require Eidolons, legendary supports or paid weapons to effectively perform its main function, so it will appeal to F2P players.

However, there are some downsides, some of which follow directly from its advantages:

    • She has a rather expensive superpower (140 units), which means she needs more time to fully restore her energy.
    • It does not perform very well in battles with single opponents - the difference in damage between 1 and 5 enemies can differ several times. For this reason, Jasper is not the best choice for clearing Hall of Oblivion and Illusion of the End unless the boss is able to summon minions.
    • The option with hypercarry is possible, but it will still be inferior to a team with two damage dealers, so it is mainly suitable only for beginners who have not yet managed to recruit a large number of heroes.
    • It is highly desirable to have a hero who can attack multiple targets at once as a second damage dealer, so that Jasper can quickly gain the Charge levels necessary to perform her bonus attack and increase her characteristics.
    • Although the heroine is able to increase her crit. damage and attack power, but this happens rather slowly, because to get maximum buffs she needs to gain 50 stacks of Charge.
    • A damage dealer who becomes a Debt Collector begins to consume his health when performing attacks. For this reason, it is advisable to have a good healer on your team. The shield shield will be a little less useful.

    Jasper's abilities

When using a basic attack "Scourge of Wealth" it deals quantum damage equal to 45~117% and 15-39% of its attack power to the targeted enemy and nearby targets. At the same time, it restores 20 units of energy and penetrates 30 units of durability to the main target, and 15 units to the neighboring ones.

Explanation: You will use them often, but they do little damage as such. The main goal of basic attacks is to gain additional charge levels if Jasper herself is a Debt Collector, since you can get up to 3 stacks in one hit.

After using the skill "Purchase Guarantee" the heroine transforms the marked ally into a Debt Collector, increasing his speed by 30 units for three turns. When performing an attack, the collector inflicts additional quantum damage on each enemy hit in the amount of 15-30% of Jasper's attack power and spends 2% of his maximum health (if there is a shortage of it, the HP scale is immediately reduced to 1 unit).

KMM's top manager can become a Debt Collector herself, but in this case her speed does not increase, and her hits do not lead to a decrease in HP. At the beginning of each of her turns, the duration of this status is reduced by 1 turn. While there is a Debt Collector on the battlefield, the heroine cannot activate her skill, which, by the way, gives 30 energy.

Explanation: Jasper’s joint attack, which deals quantum damage, does not provide energy and does not reduce the resistance of opponents, so it is at least pleasant, but certainly not the main source of damage to the heroine. So the main task of the skill is to provide the Debt Collector status to one or another character, which is necessary to gain charge levels (this is discussed in more detail in the talent). The speed buff, by the way, is extremely important, as it allows the bearer of the effect to walk earlier and more often than Jasper, which has a positive effect on the duration of the bonus.

By activating a superpower "The whirlwind of signing a contract", the heroine inflicts quantum damage to all enemies in the amount of 120-300% of her attack power. The bonus attack multiplier increases by 40-100%. This bonus can work up to two times.

Explanation: Ultimate can deal quite a lot of damage at level 10 (240%). For comparison, Jing Yuan's ultimate has a multiplier of only 200%, and Himeko - 230%. However, she is still not the main source of damage for the heroine, because she is almost twice as talented in this regard.

As for the buff, it will only apply to two subsequent bonus attacks. Then you need to activate the ult again. To use it every rotation, you will have to take a rope to restore energy, but we do not recommend that you do this, since increasing the attack power will be more beneficial.

If we talk about the passive talent of the heroine - "Withdrawal Fang", then he gives 1 charge level to Jasper for each target hit by an ally or by the heroine herself if she has the Debt Collector status. Having collected 8 stacks, the TOP manager spends them, and then carries out a bonus attack, causing quantum damage to all enemies in the amount of 60-150% of his attack power. This hit does not grant charges.

When performing a bonus attack, Jasper immediately receives 5 levels of Pledge status, each of which increases her critical damage by 1.2-3%. This bonus can be stacked up to 50 times.

Explanation: It is bonus attacks that are the main source of damage, since they will work quite often, especially when fighting a large number of enemies. The main thing is that the Debt Collector be able to deal damage to several enemies at once (Erudition and Destruction fighters are suitable). It is for this reason that Jasper can attack 3 targets with her basic attacks - this allows her to play the role of a collector herself, if necessary.

It is highly desirable that the Debt Collector could walk often (have high speed), because this will also increase the frequency of Jasper’s bonus attacks. Note that excess charges (>8) do not burn out, but go to the next bonus attack. If Jasper is stunned, she will not be able to perform bonus attacks, but the charges will continue to accumulate, so immediately after regaining consciousness she will make a bonus attack (if 8 charges have been accumulated).

As for the buff, at level 10 talent even 15 stacks of Pledge will give a 36% increase in crit. damage to the heroine, and 50 is a 120 percent bonus. These levels will accumulate throughout the entire battle, that is, the longer the battle goes on, the stronger Jasper will become.

It is also impossible not to mention the technology "Hunter's Vision", the use of which imposes a Weak Will debuff on enemies in a certain area for 10 seconds, due to which they cannot attack your team. If you independently attack opponents with this status, then Jasper will immediately inflict quantum damage on them in the amount of 50% of its attack power and receive 15 levels of Pledge.

    Traces of Jasper

In addition to the above abilities, the heroine’s leveling tree also includes other enhancements that provide passive bonuses or permanent increases to characteristics. Basically we are talking about increasing attack power, quantum damage and resistance to effects. You can see them all in the picture below.

Next, we’ll briefly look at special tracks with their own mechanics:

    • Buyback – Jasper gains 1 level of Pledge when an enemy enters battle. At the start of her turn, she gains an additional 3 levels of Pledge. Stacks are given for each enemy, that is, the more there are, the better. This trace significantly speeds up the collection of Collateral.
    • Collateral Check - advances the heroine's action forward by 50% at the beginning of the battle. Compensates for Jasper's low speed by allowing her to assign another damage dealer as Debt Collector as soon as possible.
    • Asset Forfeiture – Each level of Collateral increases Jasper’s attack power by 0.5%. At 50 stacks, attack power will increase by 25%. This bonus will mainly be useful for the heroine in the role of hypercarry, since she will have to take the boots at speed.

    Eidolons of Jasper

To unlock them, you need materials of the same name, issued when duplicates of the hero appear, which, of course, is random. And considering the rarity of 5-star character drops, be prepared to spend a lot of money and time on this. Fortunately, even without eidolons, Jasper can easily serve as a primary or secondary damage dealer on a team. Below is a list of them:

    1. Altruism? It can be traded - increases bonus attack damage by 32%. When the Debt Collector hits 2 or 1 enemy, the heroine receives 1 or 2 additional energy units, respectively.
    2. Morality? Verified by her - increases Jasper's critical chance by 18% after collecting 15 stacks of Pledge.
    3. Honesty? You can make a deposit - the level of skill and talent increases by two. The maximum level for both increases to 15. Increases overall damage well.
    4. Sincerity? Optional - when using an ult, the damage caused by the heroine ignores 12% of the enemy’s defense for 3 turns.
    5. Hope? Long sold out - the level of the ultimate increases by two, and the base attack by one. The maximum level for the first increases to 15, and for the second – to 10.
    6. Justice? Requires a guarantee - increases the penetration of Jasper's quantum resistance by 20% when there is a Debt Collector on the battlefield. In addition, she herself also becomes a collector.

If you plan to knock out eidolons and have a limited budget, then you can stop at E1, which significantly increases the damage from bonus attacks and allows you to gain charges faster in a team with damage dealers who move often, but can only hit one target at a time (Topaz, Seele, Dr. Ratio , etc.). If you have a choice between the signature and the first eidolon, then we recommend taking the second option.

    How to play as Jasper

There are two options for playing as Jasper: when she works with another damage dealer (preferably also from the Erudite path) or serves as a hypercarry. Let's sort it out second option first, since it will be less popular and in demand due to its lower combat potential.

So, in this case, the Top Manager will stick the Debt Collector on herself, and then gain charge levels with basic hits. Bonus attacks will still remain the main source of damage for the heroine, however, you can also include regular use of the ult into the rotation if you take as a second support a character capable of restoring the energy of an ally (Tingyuan or Huohuo).

You will definitely need to take boots for speed, since Jasper must walk often to gain charges faster and use bonus attacks. You can compensate for the lack of attack power with buffers and certain light cones (for example, Eternal Reckoning), but again, it is better not to put this heroine against strong single bosses who are not able to call for help.

Overall, her optimal rotation as a hypercarry would look like this:

    1. Use Jasper's technique and attack the enemy to instantly gain 15 levels of Pledge, which will give her a 36% and 7.5% bonus to critical damage and attack power, respectively.
    2. Thanks to the "Deposit Check" trail, Jasper will be one of the first to go, so immediately use the skill on her to give her Debt Collector status.
    3. Now start using basic attacks on your enemies. Do not hit opponents at the edges, otherwise you will not be able to get 3 charges if there are 3 or more mobs on the field. In 3 turns (they can be completed in one cycle if you have enough speed and a support capable of pushing your allies’ actions forward), you can accumulate the required number of stacks to perform a bonus attack, which will give the heroine additional levels of the Pledge.
    4. If the ult is ready, then use it immediately to get a large number of charges, because it hits all enemies on the field at once.
    5. After the skill wears off, use it on Jasper again to repeat the cycle.

Next option involves using Jasper in a team with another damage dealer. It is on him that you will apply the status of Debt Collector. Main DD should be fast and able to hit multiple enemies at once. However, the last condition can be ignored if Jasper has an open E1, and the selected fighter also uses bonus attacks (Topaz, Dr. Ratio) or can independently advance his action forward (Seele).

At the same time, Jasper can be left slow, because the action of the Debt Collector depends precisely on her moves, so it will be very good if a damage dealer with this status can go 2-3 times before the action of the KMM TOP manager. This will also allow the heroine to carry out her bonus attack faster. The optimal rotation would look like this:

    1. Use Jasper's technique and attack the enemy to instantly gain 15 levels of Pledge, which will give her a 36% and 7.5% bonus to critical damage and attack power, respectively.
    2. Thanks to the Collateral Check trail, Jasper will be one of the first to go, so use her skill right away to give the Debt Collector status to another damage dealer.
    3. Now start hitting the mobs with the Debt Collector. It is advisable to use his skill and/or ult to hit several enemies at once and gain more charge levels. When fighting large groups of enemies, you can easily gain 8 stacks in 3-4 turns. If necessary, use a support capable of pushing allies' actions forward (Bronya, Sparkle, Robin). This will cause Jasper to perform a bonus attack, granting her additional Pledge levels. Consequently, her subsequent bonus attacks will become even stronger.
    4. If Jasper's ult is ready, then immediately use it to deal additional damage.
    5. After the skill ends, use it again on the damage dealer to repeat the cycle.

    Best builds for Jasper

    Best Light Cones

When choosing a weapon, you should pay attention to those options that increase attack power, crits and bonus attacks. The table below presents the most interesting options.

    Name Characteristics Ability

But hope is priceless (5 stars)

    HP: 43-953

    Attack Power: 26-582

    Defense: 24-529

Increases critical hit chance by 16-28%. If the wearer's critical damage during battle exceeds 120%, then the damage from his bonus attack increases by 12-20% for every 20% exceeding the specified value. This buff can stack up to four times. At the beginning of the battle or after using a basic strike, the ultimate and bonus attack ignore 20-36% of the target's defense for two turns.

Jasper's signature, which perfectly balances her crits. The second passive will trigger regularly thanks to the talent that increases crit. damage. Ignoring the defense will allow you to inflict even more damage on your enemies. However, the 1st eidolon will still be more useful.

    Seamless computing (5 stars)

    HP: 48-1058

    Attack Power: 24-529

    Defense: 18-397

Increases attack power by 8-12%. Each enemy hit increases the wearer's attack power by an additional 4-8%. The bonus stacks up to 5 times and lasts until the next hit. If the number of enemies hit is equal to or greater than 3, the owner's speed increases by 8-16% for 1 turn.

The main advantage of this cone is that it can be purchased from Gerta's store with bonds, so you can reach the 5th overlay without any problems. In addition, he can increase Jasper's ATK by an impressive 52%, which will significantly increase her damage. True, speed will be useless to her unless she is in the hypercarry position.

Night on the Milky Way (5 stars)

    HP: 1164

    ATK: 582

    DEF: 396

Increases attack power by 9-15% for each enemy on the battlefield, can stack up to five times. If there is an enemy with a broken vulnerability, increases damage by 30-50% for one turn.

Also significantly increases attack power when fighting a large number of enemies. In battles with single bosses, the usefulness of the cone is noticeably reduced. However, you are unlikely to take Jasper to such battles. We also recommend taking supports into your squad to increase the effectiveness of breaking through vulnerabilities.

Today Is Another Peaceful Day (4 stars)

    HP: 846

    ATK: 529

    DEF: 330

Increases the wearer's damage at the beginning of the battle by 0.2-0.4% for each unit of energy up to 160 points.

Significantly increases Jasper's overall damage on the 5th cast, making it very likely to be the best 4-star option for her. But you can only get it from a paid battle pass, so it’s better to save money and just give the heroine “Continuous Computing”.

    Before Dawn (5 stars)

    HP: 1058

    ATK: 582

    DEF: 463

Increases critical damage by 36-60%, damage from skills and superpowers by 18-30%. After using a superpower or skill, the damage from a bonus attack increases by 48-80%.

A useful, but rather controversial cone. First of all, crit. Damage to Jasper is less important than crit. chance, since she can already gain critical damage from her talent. Secondly, the heroine’s skill does not cause damage and is used once every three turns, and she uses her ultimate infrequently, so the buff to bonus attacks will work quite rarely. However, if there are no alternatives, you can wear it.

The Birth of the Self (4 stars)

    HP: 952

    ATK: 476

    DEF: 330

Increases damage dealt by bonus attacks by 24-48%. If the target enemy's health is at or below 50%, bonus attack damage is increased by an additional 24-48%.

Significantly increases the damage from bonus attacks on the 5th cast, which are the main source of Jasper’s damage, coming close in effectiveness to “Continuous Computations”. However, it will be less useful on 1-3 overlays.

    Geniuses’ Repose (4 stars)

    HP: 846

    ATK: 476

    DEF: 396

Increases attack power by 16-32%. Annihilation an enemy increases critical damage by 24-48%.

Greatly increases ATK, which increases Jasper's overall damage. Crete. damage only triggers when killing enemies, so the second part of the passive will only be useful when fighting large groups of enemies.

The Day The Cosmos Fell (4 stars)

    HP: 952

    ATK: 476

    DEF: 330

Increases the owner's attack power by 16-24%. If after hitting at least 2 targets have a corresponding vulnerability, the owner's critical damage increases by 20-40% for 2 turns.

Gives less attack power and crit. damage than the previous weapon, but it can be obtained completely free of charge in the Light Cone Passage.

    The best relics

As for the choice of ordinary relics mined in corrosion caves, the table below shows the most optimal options.

    Name Bonuses Advantages

The genius of the diamond stars

2 pieces: Increase quantum damage by 10%.

4 parts: in case of damage, the wearer ignores 10% of the enemy's defense. If the enemy has a quantum vulnerability, the owner will ignore the additional 10% protection.

The best option for Jasper, which increases her personal damage. He performs even better with Pela in the team.

The genius of the diamond stars

    The Ashblazing Grand Duke

2 pieces: Increases bonus attack damage by 10%.

2 pieces: Increase quantum damage by 10%.

A good alternative to the previous set, which will make it easier to choose good stats. It enhances Jasper's main source of damage and its overall damage.

    The Ashblazing Grand Duke

2 pieces: Increases bonus attack damage by 20%.

4 pieces: When the wearer performs a bonus attack, their attack power increases by 6% each time the bonus attack deals damage. This effect can stack up to 8 times and lasts for 3 turns. The effect is removed the next time the owner performs a bonus attack.

Another good option that not only increases the damage from bonus attacks, but also gives additional attack power, which affects the damage of all Jasper’s abilities.

    Braveness of the Wind

2 pieces: Increases attack power by 12%.

4 pieces: Increases critical hit chance by 6%. After using a bonus attack, increases super damage by 36% for 1 turn.

A good set that will increase Jasper’s overall damage. With it it will be easier to balance the heroine’s crits, and the ultimate will begin to be more useful. The main thing is to remember to activate it only after the bonus attack has been made.

Now let's move on to planar jewelry, which is mined in the Virtual Universe. The list below shows the recommended options (the numbers indicate the priority of choice):

Planar decoration Bonuses Reasons for choice

    1) Duran wolf dynasty

2 parts: when an ally performs a bonus attack, the wearer receives 1 level of Feat (maximum 5). Each stack increases the owner's bonus attack damage by 5%. Having gained 5 levels of the Feat, the wearer additionally receives a 25% bonus to critical damage. The best option for Jasper is if she is on a team with characters who also actively use bonus attacks. Otherwise, it is better to choose one of the sets below.

    2) Frozen Salsotto

2 pieces: Increases critical strike chance by 8%. If this parameter exceeds 50%, then the damage from the ult and bonus attack will increase by 15%. A more universal option that will be good in any situation, as it will simplify the balancing of crits and increase the damage from bonus attacks. Ulta will also become a little more useful.

    3) Barren Sigonia

2 parts: increases crit. carrier chance by 4%. When defeating an enemy, increases the owner's critical damage by another 4%. The bonus can be stacked up to 10 times. The best option for Pure Fiction, where Jasper can easily gain maximum buff stacks.

Concerning characteristics of relics, then you need to choose as follows:

    • Body: Critical Hit Chance or Critical Damage (the choice depends on what weapons and relic sets you use; the main thing is to maintain a 1 to 2 ratio)
    • Legs: attack power (speed, if Jasper is a hypercarry)
    • Planar Sphere: Quantum Damage Bonus (Priority) or Attack Power%
    • Connecting Rope: Attack Power
    • Additional characteristics: critical damage/crit chance > attack power > speed

If we talk about optimal performance attributes of the heroine, they look like this:

    • Attack power: from 2800 units and above
    • Critical hit chance: 60-70%
    • Critical damage: 120-140% (excluding talent bonus)
    • Speed: 110-115 units (in teams with other damage dealers)

    The best commands for Jasper

As we noted above, Jasper performs best in company with other damage dealers, and it is desirable that they can deal damage to several enemies at once, that is, belong to the paths of Erudition and Destruction. In this case, other fighters with high speed, as well as those capable of delivering bonus attacks and/or independently propelling their actions forward (Topaz, Dr. Ratio, Seele , and so on) are also suitable.

As a buffer, you can take a support who can promote the action of the Tax Collector so that he can make more moves per cycle, for example, Armor, Sparkle or Robin. In general, any supports that increase attack power, damage from bonus attacks, crits and/or speed are suitable (preferably not all, but only for selected allies).

If you are going to make a hypercarry out of Jasper, then you will need two supports, and one of them may turn out to be a debuffer. For example, Pela performs well, capable of cutting off the defense of enemies. In the table below you can see the optimal teams with the KMM TOP manager.

How to increase abilities (what to download first)

The pictures below demonstrate the materials and their quantities required to maximize the basic attack, skill, superpower and talent.

    • Rough sketches, dynamic outlines, and masterful color sketches are obtained from a crimson sepal found in a new location, or using Synthesis.
    • Dream Collection Components, Dream Flow Valve and Dream Engines are obtained from members of the Nightmare Troupe in Penaconia, quests and enemies in the Virtual Universe, or through Synthesis. They can also be purchased for unquenchable ashes at the Pom-Pom store.
    • Lost Echo of the Unity of Desires - obtained from boss battles Chorus of Balance: Great Septimius in the echo of war "Tribute to the politeness of mortal tears", located on Penaconia.
    • Imprints of Fate - obtained in the Virtual Universe, issued with a battle pass and purchased for unquenchable ashes in the Pom-Pom store. Sometimes they are a reward in temporary events.

Concerning priority for leveling up abilities, then we advise you to first increase your talent, and then upgrade your superpower and skill. Basic attacks can be increased last, although you will use them quite often.

How to level up a character

At certain levels you will need to elevate the hero by spending a large amount of resources and credits:

    • Ascension (level 30): credits x4000 and dream collection components x5
    • Ascension (level 40): credits x8000 and dream collection components x10
    • Ascension (level 50): credits x16000, dream flow valve x6 and dream flamethrower x3
