In Genshin Impact Deep tombs are unique objects that can be found in different parts of the game world. Some of them are hidden in the Mondstadt region, and others in Liyue Harbor. If you're having trouble finding these shrines or finding the keys to open them, check out our guide. Where to find all the tombs of the depths
The image above shows the location of all the tombs of the depths in two regions. Below we have detailed where you can find them. When the developers add new territories, we will expand the guide. You can also use interactive world map which receives regular updates.
Each star you see on the map represents one of the tombs. As soon as you get close to the right place, you will almost immediately see the right building nearby. We are talking about a large rectangular stone building that glows from the inside. Therefore, at night, you should not have problems with their detection either.
Why even look for these sanctuaries of the deep? The fact is that inside each of them you will find a luxurious chest, which, after opening, will reward you with 40 source stones used for Prayers for As You Wish (gacha), 60 adventure experience points, random weapons and artifacts, as well as 10 seals of Anemo and mora (money).
All you need to do to get this reward is open the tomb. To do this, you will need keys, which can be difficult to get.
Tombs of the Deep in Mondstadt
On the map, the numbers indicate the places where you can find the necessary buildings. If you need more information, then just match the number with the corresponding paragraph below.
First tomb
- Location: Stormbearer Mountains
Head north from Starfall Lake's northern teleporter.
Second tomb
- Location: Starfish's Rock
Teleport to the northern fast travel point of the Cliff, and then move south from it.
Third tomb
- Location: Springvale
Teleport to the specified area, and then head east.
Fourth tomb
- Location: Dadaupa Gorge
Move to the specified area, and then go to the northwest.
Fifth tomb
- Location: Dadaupa Gorge
Move to the specified area, and then go east.
Sixth tomb
- Location: Dadaupa Gorge
Move to the indicated area, and then head southwest along the cliffs.
Seventh tomb
- Location: Howling Wind Highlands
Teleport to the Statue of the Seven of the specified region, and then move north.
Eighth tomb
- Location: Wolfendom
Move to the entrance to the dungeon "Cecilia Garden" and then head south.
Ninth tomb
- Location: Brightcrown Canyon
Travel to the fast travel point In the Mountains, and then head north.
Tenth tomb
- Location: Dawn Winery"
Teleport to the Stone Gate and then head east.
Tombs of the Deep in Liyue

First tomb
- Location: stone Achievement: Gate
Move to the teleporter above the Stone Achievement: Gate text on the map. Head east to find a building on the side of a mountain.
Second tomb
- Location: Wuwan Slope
Teleport to the entrance to the Wu Wan Hidden Palace dungeon, and then head south. The desired building is located south of the pond board, which can be seen on the map.
Third tomb
- Location: Mount Aozang (northeast)
Move to the northeast fast travel point of the indicated area. Move south from the island to the giant tree. Near it is the building you need.
Fourth tomb
- Location: Mount Aozang (east)
Move to the entrance dungeon "Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern" and then head east. Find the frog statue and follow the path you found to get to the temple.
Fifth tomb
- Location: Mount Aozang (southeast)
Teleport to the southern fast travel point of the indicated area, located near the river. Climb up the eastern cliff and you will see the temple.
Sixth tomb
- Location: Southern Heaven's Achievement: Gate
Move to the fast travel point located near the text "Southern Heaven's Achievement: Gate" on the map. Climb up the cliff to the north to find a structure.
Seventh tomb
- Location: Dunyu Tomb (Northwest)
Teleport to the northwest fast travel point of the specified area. Climb the mountain on the right side and you will immediately notice the temple.
Eighth tomb
- Location: Dunyu Tomb (south)
Move to the entrance to the dungeon "Domain of the Wayward Path", and then go straight south to find the desired building.
Ninth tomb
- Location: Minyun Village (North)
Move to the northern fast travel point of the specified area and move to the northeast.
Tenth tomb
- Location: Guyun Stone Forest
Teleport to the dungeon entrance of Gu Yun's Realm. Use the character's cryo to cross the sea and reach the island located in the southern part of the region.
How to get the keys to the tombs of the depths
As we mentioned just above, in order to open the tomb of the depths, you will need to use a special Key. Depending on the region, there are two types of keys: wind-style blue (opens shrines in Mondstadt) and earth-style gold (opens shrines in Liyue).
These keys are obtained in approximately the same way: they are sometimes issued as rewards for completing certain quests or drop out when performing a number of additional activities. In the beginning, you will be able to get one Key to the Tomb of Mondstadt by completing the quest to rank the statues of seven in the corresponding region to level 6 - this is a good early quest from the Adventurer's Guide, chapter 4, so you will probably get your first Key with it. Other methods are shown below.
How to get the keys to the Shrines of the Mondstad Depths:
- Dungeons: Ascend: Clear the Ruins I (introduced in the Midsummer Courtyard dungeon at world level up) - gives 3 keys, and Temple of the Falcon, Temple of the Lion and Deep Within the Temple of the Wolf 1 key each. 1 more Key can be obtained for completing Eagle Gate.
- Adventurer's Guide: Chapter 4 (Upgrade the statues of the seven in Mondstadt to level 6) and Chapter 5.
- Quests: New Horizons of Adventure (given by Katheryne at the adventurer's booth in Mondstadt).
How to get the keys to Liyue's Tomb of the Deep:
- Dungeons: Domain of Forsaken Ruins, Domain of the Wayward Path, Hidden Palace of Guizang Formula (2 keys for 2 different levels).
- Quests: The Chi of Yore, Treasure Lost, Treasure Found, The Tree who Stands Alone.
- Adventure Rank Up (not verified).
When completing high-level tasks and dungeons, you can get several keys at once. These items are tied to their respective regions, meaning the Mondstadt Tomb Key cannot be obtained from Liyue Harbor and vice versa.
