In Genshin Impact The Adventure of the Mighty One-Eye is the first chapter legend quests Tartaglia "Heavenly Whale". To complete it, you will need to fight the Guardians of the Ruins, find the treasure and go through the dungeon. If you're having trouble completing these tasks, check out our guide.
How to start "The Mighty Cyclops’ Adventure!"»
You will be able to do this after you fulfill a number of conditions listed below:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 40. IN separate article we told how you can quickly pump this parameter.
- Complete the Legends of Xingqiu quest titled "The Bookworm Swordsman" .
- Complete the Archons main quest "A New Star Approaches".
- Earn 1 Story Key by completing 8 daily quests (up to 4 quests per day). You can keep no more than 3 keys of legends in your inventory.
When all these requirements are met, simply open the mission log and click on the "Side Quests" inscription. There, open the desired quest chain.
From Across the Sea
Ask Millelite
To start this quest, you will need to travel to the southwestern part of Tianqiu Valley. Just teleport to the nearest fast travel point.
When you arrive at the right place, talk to the marked Millelith, and he will inform you that the Guardians of the Ruins have appeared here. It's time to start investigating.
Look for the guardians of the ruins
After talking to the guard, go south up the hill and here you will find huge footprints leading up the stone steps.
Head up the stairs and check the area behind it to find a Ruin Guardian. Approach him and he will immediately wake up. It's time to destroy it! This enemy is no different from other enemies of this type, so deal with him and then continue south towards the marked area, and soon you will reach the ruins.
When you get to the right place, you will see a small child examining Mr. One-Eye. We find out that the boy's name is Tevkr and he came from a distant land of Snow.
Go to the Bank of the Northern Kingdom
Travel to Liyue Harbor and head to the Snowbank to trigger a small cutscene with Childe. This completes the quest and rewards you with 375 adventure points, 22,000 Mora, 2 hero experience, and 5 magical amplification ore.

Take Tevkr to the toy Shop
Looks like we'll have to look after the boy for now. It is necessary to take Tevkr to the toy shop. Here you can buy kites.
During the cutscene, you will need to bargain with Granny Shan to lower the price of the kite. Previously, you received 35,000 mora from Childe and, just like during the main story, you will be able to save coins for yourself, which you will be able to save when buying various things for the child.
So, the kite costs 15,000, but you can easily lower the price to 8000 i.e. get almost 50% discount. You should not underestimate the cost too much, otherwise you will anger the seller.
Bring Tevkr to the Chef de Cuisine Restaurant
It's time to go to Xiangling Restaurant, which is right around the corner. Talk to Chef Mao when you get here. You will again need to bargain with the seller. The starting The Price starts at 12,000 Mora. We were able to bring it down to 8 500 Mora. The seller will not be very happy, but we will save money.
Bring Tevkra to the dock
Head east from the restaurant and then head north along the main street to trigger another cutscene. The boy will notice a huge metal hook. Follow Tevkrom to watch the next cutscene.
He will go to the fish counter and drive the seller crazy. The child will then say that he misses his brother. We need to take him back to Tartaglia.
Take Teucer to Childe
Childe is located east of Qingxu Lake, on top of a hill overlooking the river.
Approaching the right place, you will see how Tartaglia is talking to several treasure thieves. It seems that they owe money to Snezhnaya, but everything does not go as Tartaglia intended, because his brother suddenly appears.
Complete the Treasure Thieves Challenge
You need to get to a high mountain by flying over a mountainous area. It's pretty easy as there will be wind rings placed all over the place that will speed up your flight a lot. Updrafts of wind will also appear, which will throw you up so that you do not fall to the ground.
Fly through all the rings and open the chest before the timer runs out. After that, you will automatically return to the bandits. Watch the new cut-scenes, after which Childe will have to leave. Tevker will run away - it looks like he was chasing his brother.
Go to Childe in search of Teucer
You will need to go to the marked area located between Qingxu Lake and Lingju Pass.
When you arrive there, a new cut-scene will play, in which you will see Teucer watching Childe's work and preventing him from doing his "villainous" deeds.
Defeat all of Fatui's recruits
It's time to deal with a group of opponents. You will have to face several waves of enemies, but they can be completely defeated by Tartaglia alone, because he is a trial hero who is incredibly strong. We advise you to deal with Cryo Fatui first, as they are able to impose shields on their allies. After that, take on the Electro Hammer.
After defeating opponents, watch a new video. This will end the quest, and you will receive 625 adventure points, 38,100 Mora, 4 hero experience and 8 magical enhancement ore.
On Defender of Childhood Dreams
Head to the Enter the Institute for Toy Research
The "Institute" is located north of the Lingju Pass. Move to the Statue of the Seven Archons in the east, and then glide down from there.
When you get to the right place, view the new cut-scene. Then start the passage of a unique dungeon.
Complete the dungeon "The Wonderful World Of Mr. Cyclops"
Watch the short video again. Tevkr will run ahead, and the door will immediately close behind him. Go south and jump down to see the Hydro Monument. Stand east of it and shoot the totem with Childe's Charged Shot to raise the water level and access a nearby ladder.
In the next room, you will be attacked by several fire slimes. Use Tartaglia's elemental skill to quickly deal with enemies. Shoot the Hydro monuments again and use the cube-shaped console to open the way for Teucer.
Continue down the only path and you'll find a Respawn Achievement: Gate and a chest on the left side. Walk forward and jump down to find some Electro Slimes. Use Tartaglia's elemental skill again. After that, several fire slimes will appear. Deal with them to open the door.
Once you enter the water area, look to the right to find a spider web. Destroy it to gain access to the chest. At this point, you may be attacked by slimes.
Keep moving forward and approach the console. Watch a short cut-scene. In the next location, you will see some Ruin Guardians being moved by a conveyor belt. As they advance, they will block the lasers, and you can safely cross to the other side.
Head past the lasers and then jump over the hole to where the chest is, as the lasers fire from the other side.
Go through the lasers again, fly over the pit, wait for the Ruin Guard to block the last set of beams, and get to the next room. Look at the big gate and find the purple device at the top. Shoot him to lower the gate and finally reunite with Tevkrom.
Defeat the Guardians of the Ruins
You need to kill all the Guardians of the Ruins in this location, but you are unlikely to be able to do this in the allotted time. Fortunately, when 10 seconds remain, a cut-scene will start in which Tartaglia will destroy all the enemies for you. After its completion, find Childe (he will sit slightly in front, on the right) and chat with him.
Then go to the boy and talk to him. Now you can exit the dungeon. Before that, do not forget to inspect the chest near the teleporter.
Return to the Northern Kingdom Bank
Head to the financial institution located in Liyue Harbor. Watch several cut-scenes in which you will learn new information about Childe. As a result, the first chapter of the legends quest will come to an end. You will receive 725 Adventure Points, 60 Source Stones, 44,000 Mora, 5 Liberty Directions, and 10 Enchant Magic Ore.
