In Genshin Impact The Sea of Fog and the Rite of the Trees is Inazuma's world quest and part of the quest chain "Through the Mists". As part of it, you have to find the scattered power of the nest, and then destroy it. If you're having trouble completing these tasks, check out our guide.
How to start The Sea of Fog and the Rite of the Trees quest
First you will need to complete the world quest "Octave of the Maushiro". Then wait for the start of the next calendar day. Paimon will speak to you, who will offer to visit Kama again and talk with him.
Head to Ritou and talk to the mysterious boatman. Next, return to Tsurumi Island Island, which will again be covered in fog. Go through the stone Achievement: Gate again to remove the veil. However, 4 areas will remain undiscovered.
Proceed deeper into Tsurumi Island
Head to the area marked on the map. You need to go to the place where you first made a nesting offering as part of the quest "A Particularly Particular Author". There you will find Makiri and Ipe.
Chat with them and then destroy the thunderbird's nest. Any attack can deal damage, but Pyro skills deal the most damage. When the tree's health drops to half, a cut-scene will be shown with flying out electro particles.
Seek out the scattered power of nesting
Look at the mini-map, as it will show the objects you need - they look like small purple blobs of energy. To search for them, you can also use the sense of the elements.
Approach these particles and dispel them with any elemental attacks. The fastest way to do this is by using heroes with a catalyst. After destroying some of them, monsters may appear, so get ready for a fight.
In total, you will have to collect 6 clots. Half of them will be located right next to the tree. Three more are around and on the nearby hill. They shine brightly, so they are hard to miss.
After destroying them, return to the nesting place and finish it off to remove the fog from the indicated area. Next, you will need to destroy the 3 remaining nesting sites that you have already visited before.
Destroy the nesting site of the Shrine of Tirai
Get to the tree on the hill and start damaging it. When his health drops to 50%, 6 energy blobs will fly out of him, which you will need to dispel.
Where to find scattered energy
Look to the right, with your back to the nest, and you will immediately see 2 electro particles. Develop them and go a little forward. The next bunch is near the ruins. Then go around the ruins and find the fourth sphere on the rocks. The fifth will be on the other side of the ruins, and the sixth will be on the destroyed column.
Return to the tree and finish it off to clear the fog from the area. Head to the next location.
Destroy the nesting site of Sirikoro Peak
Enter the cave and deal enough damage to the tree. Then start looking for energy clots.
Where to find scattered energy
The first is located right next to the nesting site. After dispelling it, jump down and you will see 3 more electro spheres. Having dealt with them, go down even lower and disperse the last clumps of energy.
Now summon an Electrograna and return to the top with the help of thunder spheres. Finish off the nest to clear the area of fog. Head to the last location.
Destroy Autake Plains nesting site
Get to the tree (thankfully, now you don't have to worry about getting lost in the fog) and damage it. After that, start finding electro particles.
Where to find scattered energy
All of them are located next to the nesting site, around it, so you don’t have to go far. Just look at the mini-map and screenshots below.
Then return to the tree and finish it off. The fog will disappear. Perhaps the Ritual will not take place now. This needs to be checked.
Look for Ru on Tsurumi Island
When you get to the right location, a strong thunderstorm will begin, and you will be moved to the statue of seven. Next, you will need to find the boy again. Go through the stone archway and you will see a child. Chat with him.
Now return to Sumida in the capital of the archipelago. Chat with her. Next, head to the boatman and ask him a few questions. At this point, the quest will end, and you will receive 350 adventure points, 3 hero experience, 40 source stones, 6 magic enhancement ore and 30,000 pestilence. A day later, access to a new task will also open "The Sun-Wheel and Mt. Kanna".
