In Genshin Impact meetings with Yun Jin are unique type of legend quests, which requires you to specify various phrases in the dialogues and make certain decisions in order to unlock all available endings. New endings allow you to get additional rewards, including primogems. In this guide, you will learn about all the actions that open each story.
How to start and complete meetings with Yun Jin
To do this, you will first have to fulfill a number of special requirements. They include the following tasks:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 28. We wrote separate guide about how you can speed it up.
- Complete the Archons' quest called "Interim volume. Chapter I: The Wind Blows - The Cranes Return".
- Collect two Legend Keys by completing 16 daily quests. You can complete no more than 4 such missions per day. Plus, you will not be able to accumulate these keys, since you can only keep a maximum of 3 such items with you.
Having resolved the issue with these conditions, go to the "Legend Quests" section and open the "Meetings" tab. Find the desired heroine there and unlock her quest chain, which contains several endings.
There is no detailed description of all the events that take place during the meeting in this article, since we do not want to spoil the experience for you when you go through it yourself. Here are only the main forks, the choices in which affect the unlocking of endings, as well as puzzle solutions, correct answers to quizzes and the location of quest objects.
We add that you do not need to complete the entire mission from the very beginning to open the next story, because you can select any desired fork in the Encounter: Yun Jin menu and immediately transfer to it. Plus, after the release of update 2.2, the game began to indicate the options you had previously selected.
Note: When talking with Yun Jin, you will see a scale in the form of white hearts in the upper right corner of the screen - it shows your relationship with her. Its size does not affect the opening endings, however, if it drops to zero, then the task will immediately end, which is why it will have to be done again from the last fork. This bar falls for rude behavior or choosing the wrong answers to questions.
Act I "A Song That Knows Grace"
The picture below shows all the branches of the story, leading to one or another ending. It should give you a general idea of the meeting. Next, we will take a closer look at each route.
After starting the meeting, head to the Adventurer's Guild. Here you will find the troublesome manager Yun Jin. He will ask you to find the singer before anything happens to her.
Ending 1: Regrets for the dangers of this world

If you decide to follow them quietly, then later you will have another chance to get the 1st ending. Try to crawl after the NPC (click on LMB) to reduce the chance that they will see you. Also keep an eye on the eye icon - it should not be completely filled with a red stripe.
After successfully eavesdropping on a conversation between a journalist and an editor, you will need to make another choice.
Fork "Contract with strict conditions" :

Next, you will need to discreetly follow the journalists. Try to crawl after the NPC (click on LMB) to reduce the chance that they will see you. Also keep an eye on the eye icon - it should not be completely filled with a red stripe. If you are caught, then you will automatically get the 1st ending, which, of course, cannot be allowed.
Note: If you are constantly noticed at the moment when journalists stop on the bridge, then you can use the method that the user suggested oregy. As soon as the video ends and before the moment they start moving, abruptly run behind the rack with paper lanterns. The detection scale will immediately fill up to half. Take a step and stop. The scale will start to drop. Wait for them to start walking and line up roughly with you. Then, keeping a little behind, move along the wall of the building, to the last column, not far from which there is a guard. Wait for the moment when they enter the bridge. Then, at a sharp run, follow the stone right lantern located at the beginning of the bridge. If you do not have time to reach the moment of stopping, then you may lose again.

Continue the conversation. You can choose any answer options, as they no longer affect the final. Then scroll through the time to the next morning (06:00 - 08:00) and head to the agreed place for classes. Yun Jin will ask you how many pigeons you scared off on the bridge:
- Six.
- Seven (correct answer).
- Eight.
Next, go to the northern suburb of Liyue and deal with all the monsters nearby. Then you will need to break all the red scarecrows in the allotted time. If you don't hit any of the blue scarecrows, you will subsequently unlock the "Strictly Teacher Has Talented Students" trophy.
At the end, talk to the singer again. You can choose any phrases, as you will still come to the desired ending.
Rewards for meeting with Yun Jin
For unlocking each next ending, you will receive a certain reward. Below is a list of items that you will be given for completing the task:
- Unlock 1 Encounter Memory: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 3 Guide to Diligence.
- Unlock 2 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 5 Hero XP, and 3 Prithiv Topaz Fragments.
- Unlock 3 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 5 Cloud-shrouded Jade.
- Unlock 4 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 5 Hero XP, and 3 Prithiv Topaz Fragments.
- Unlock 5 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 3 Zeal Directions.
In addition, for opening all the branches you will unlock the achievement “The Lingering Song», thus obtaining another 20 source stones. There are also two additional trophies that we talked about above - they give an additional 10 primogems.
