How to start the quest "The Crane Returns on the Wind"
To get this mission, you will first need to fulfill several requirements, namely:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 28. IN separate article We talked about several ways to increase this parameter.
- Complete the Archon quest titled "A New Star Approaches", which is the 3rd chapter of the first Thoma of the main storyline.
As soon as you meet the specified conditions, the corresponding task should automatically appear in your journal. Make it active to head towards the first quest marker. If it does not appear, then try selecting it in the "Events" menu.
Jade Chamber Rising
Head to Yujing Terrace located in Liyue Harbor and listen to what Ningguang has to say. She wants to restore the Jade Chamber. After watching a long cut-scene, start following the intel merchant to figure out what's going on here.
To do this, simply go to the quest marker. Then explore the second area marked on the mini-map. There you will find Shenhe and two suspicious individuals. Watch another video.
Next, head to the Bubu hut, located nearby, to feed our new friend. Another long dialogue will begin. In it, Shenhe will agree to become our companion to help us in the competition organized to rebuild the Jade Palace. This will complete the task. As a reward, you will receive 425 adventure points, 15,325 pestilence, 6 adventurer experience and 3 magical enhancement ores.
Seagaze Sunset
You will need to go to the Feiyun Merchant Guild to speak with Xingqiu. Just go to the quest marker and watch a short cutscene. From him you will learn about the existence of the abode of the Adepts, in which you can find the plasturite of the dawn.
Seek out the Adepts' retreat on the outskirts of Lisha
Teleport to a fast travel point near Liyue Harbor and then glide down to trigger a new cutscene. Our companion will remove the protection of the adepts, and Paimon will notice the fairy. You will need to escort her to the "house" to open the passage to the monastery.
The fairy will stop near the waterfall in the gorge. Approach her to open a passage to a dungeon called "The Sea Gazer’s Abode". You will need to complete it. It is recommended to have Hydro, Geo and Pyro characters in the squad.
Activate the Ancient Formation Core Seal
To complete this task, you will need to turn on the three Geo Lanterns shown by the quest markers. Near them are minerals that must be destroyed to obtain a charge, with which the lamps are lit. They are guarded by various mobs, so be careful. You can safely walk on the clouds - you will not fail.

To get to the third Geo Lantern, located on the floating island, you will need to use the air current located near the lone tree. If you can’t immediately use it, then jump on it from the nearest ledge. Then simply activate the lamp after the destruction of the mineral.
Destroy the Hurdle of the abode
Jump to the core and fight various monsters. They shouldn't cause you too much trouble, as you'll basically be fighting various slimes. When you hear the phrase about revealing the core of the mechanism, start attacking it.
After destroying it, you will find yourself on the lower floor of the monastery, where you will again have to fight the mobs. This time you will be attacked by Hilichurls, Slimes and Mitachurls. Use area-of-effect elemental explosions to kill all enemies at once. Then hit the core. When his health drops to 50%, a lavachurl will spawn. Deal with it and finish off the mechanism.
Continue your search for dawn plowstreet
Then you will fall into a deep cave where you have to solve a couple of puzzles. Go past the moving lasers and get to the stone block blocking your path. You can touch it to move it. Move it forward and to the right all the way to the end to find a chest.
Now go back a little and move the stone block on the left 3 times forward to reveal more stones. Next, push the 1st opened block forward to the very end, and on the left you will see a chest. Go back a little and push the 2nd block to the right all the way to the end to open a new passage.
Walk forward and you will see the third part of the core. Deal with the Hydro Slimes and Mitchurls that spawn. Then beat the mechanism. One Geovishap will appear. Kill him and keep hitting the core. At the end, you will have to fight two Ruin Guards. By destroying the core, you will finally remove the Hurdle.
Look for plowstreet dawn
Run after the fairy into the formed passage. The spirit will reach its home. Examine the chest nearby. Next, go up the emerging light path. Watch the cut-scene. As a result, you will complete the test. Take the treasure from the chest and leave the dungeon.
Now go to the construction site and talk to the secretary. Listen to the dialogue and go With You Shenhe to the inn to rest. On the way you will see the Guardian of the Clouds. Chat with him. Next, rewind the time to 08:00 - 12:00 the next day through the Paimon menu.
You will automatically return to Shenhe. Chat with her. This will end the task. As a reward, you will receive 750 adventure points, 28,000 pestilence, 3 hero experience and 5 magical enhancement ore.
Bygones Times Like Dust Passing
You will need to get information at the construction site. Follow the quest marker. Watch a short cut-scene where you will meet Beidou and Yun Jin. With You with them we go to the forge of old Zhang to learn how to create a Adepti Sigil and a Wonder Core. This will require a special ore. Head to Tianheng Mountain.
Find Star Shard Ore
An area will appear on the map where you will need to look for this special material. Use your elemental sense to see the ore. The first is on top of a small rock, in the bushes. The second can be found a little higher, on a mountain slope (see screenshots below).
Search the village for records of subrosion
Head to the village and ask the old man about this material. He does not know where to look, but the necessary information can be found in the records left in the village. You will need to discover them.
In the nearby ruins, you can find the Records of a Changing Village. In the shack nearby, near the barrel, the Shabby Diary is hidden. You will unlock the achievement "A Former Dream". Keep looking for the notes - go up the stone stairs and enter the wooden building. There you will find a note "Mountainous Miscellany".
After receiving the necessary information, return to Shenhe and talk to her. Then go to the center of the lake and scroll the time to 17:30 to explore this location at dusk. Head towards the setting sun and you will find a Subrosium. Not far from the ore is Xiao. You can talk to him if you wish.
Now return to old Zhang and give him the ore. This will complete the task. As a reward, you will receive 625 adventure points, a Wonder Core, a Adepti Sigil, 22,575 pestilence, 4 magic boost ore and 2 hero experience.
Where the Heart Finds Rest
After creating the necessary items, you will need to give them to the secretary. To do this, head to the construction site and watch the new cut-scene with Ningguang. The video will be very long and epic.
How to defeat Beisht, Whirlwind Echo
In this battle, you will be able to play as Shenhe, even if she is not in your squad. Finish off the monster, after which two more heads of the sea hydra will appear from the bottom. Hit them as they fall into the arena.
It's pretty easy to dodge the monster's attacks - the main thing is to keep an eye on the red areas that appear on the battlefield. From time to time, a whirlpool will appear in the center of the arena, sucking into itself and causing damage. Try to run away from him as far as possible. Against this opponent, Electro and Cryo attacks work well. After defeating the boss, you will get the achievement "Majesty of the Deep".
Take part in a feast at the Jade Palace
Watch a short cutscene with Ningguang and the Guardian of the Clouds. Next, you will need to head to the Jade Chamber. You won’t be able to fly to it, but you don’t need to do this, since now you can simply teleport there by finding the corresponding icon on the map.
When you get to the right place, watch the new colorful video with the introduction of Yun Jin. This chapter will end. As a reward, you will receive 650 Adventure Points, 60 Source Stones, 23,425 Pestilence, 2 Hero XP, 5 Enchantment Magic Ore, and 2 Depth Dragon False Fins.
