In Genshin Impact meetings with Kuki Shinobu are separate variety legend quests, in which you need to choose different phrases during dialogues and make different decisions to open all the endings available in the quest.
Unlocking the endings allows you to get valuable rewards, such as source stones, and additional pictures for a teapot of serenity. In this guide, we will point out all the choices and actions that need to be taken to see the story in its entirety.
How to start and complete meetings with Kuki Shinobu
You will be able to take on this quest line only after meeting several conditions, which include:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 40. In our separate article advice is given on how to quickly raise this parameter.
- Complete the Archons quest "Perilous Trail", which is the second chapter of the intermediate Thoma of the main storyline.
- Complete Arataki Itto Legends Quest "Golden soul they", which is the first chapter of the "Heavenly Bull" chain.
- Prepare 2 Legend Keys by completing exactly 16 daily errands (only 4 such missions can be completed per day). We add that at the same time you can have no more than 3 keys with you, so it will not be possible to save them in reserve.
When you meet all the above requirements, open the "Legend Quests" menu and go to the "Meetings" section. There, find the required character and unlock the meeting with him. Perhaps access to the meeting will open June 21 only when the Kuki Shinobu banner appears.
This guide does not contain a detailed description of all the events that will occur as part of the task, so as not to spoil your impression of independent passage. We will describe only the key forks in which actions and decisions can affect the opening of the finals. The article will also look at all the puzzles, give answers to quiz questions and show the location of important items.
You should know that you do not have to start the quest from scratch to open all the endings. You can easily go to any fork you need in the "Meeting: Kuki Shinobu" window. In addition, after the release of patch 2.2, the game now indicates the options you previously selected.
Note: Note that during a conversation with Kuki Shinobu, you will probably notice a scale of white hearts in the upper right corner - it shows the level of the heroine's attitude towards the player. Its value does not affect the unlocking of endings, but if it drops to zero, the encounter will end immediately, forcing you to start over from the last junction reached. Hearts can disappear due to rude behavior or choosing the wrong answers.
Act I "The Gang’s Daily Deeds"
The picture below shows all the branches of the story that lead to different endings. It gives an overview of the meeting. Next, we will consider all routes in more detail.
After starting the meeting, go to the commission to talk to Uesugi in connection with the detention of Genta and his comrades, who posted notices everywhere. There you will find Kuki Shinobu. Enter into a dialogue with both.
Ending 1: Earnings beyond expectations
Fork route: Arataki volunteers? -> Ways and Means -> To the Shrine -> Orders of the Priestess -> Power of Omamori -> Daily Wage.
During the first conversation with Kuki Shinobu and Uesugi, you can choose any answers, as they will not affect the course of events. After talking with the guards, go around the corner of the nearby building and talk to Deputy Arataki Itto and other members of the Arataki gang again.
Fork "Ways and Means" :

After that, you will need to go to the Travel Notes: Grand Narukami Shrine so that Genta and the others apologize to Yae Miko.
Fork "To the Shrine" :
- She will have to obey...
Then you can choose any answers, as this will no longer affect the receipt of the final. You have to deal with the reception of parishioners, but before that you will have to talk with Takuma, who is standing nearby.
Fork "The Power of Omamori" :
Chat with Grandma Asami, and then start looking for the materials needed for the omamori. All of them will be marked on the map with yellow markers, but we will still indicate their location just in case.
To get the paper, you need to talk to Maki, the priestess standing on the left side of the Sacred Sakura.
The Fabric can be found behind the temple where Maki is standing. As for the node, it can be found behind the temple, which gives out divination tags. After finding all the items, return to Grandma Asami and chat with her.
Now just follow the story, choosing any dialogue options, and in the end you will get the first ending. You will also unlock the achievement "With One More Look!» from the "Memories of the Heart" section.
Ending 2: "Time for secret affairs..."
Fork route: Arataki volunteers? -> Ways and Means -> To the Shrine -> Meeting of the sisters -> People's rumors -> Uninvited Guests.

Then you can choose any answers, as this will no longer affect the receipt of the final. Go to the exit of the temple complex and talk to Miyuki, who will be climbing the mountain.
Fork "Meeting of Sisters" :
Here you will need to remove all ads using Hydro or Anemo attacks. There will be three posters in total. The first hangs on a rock not far from the place where the conversation just took place. Just hit it with air or water to remove it.
Go even further down the stone stairs and you will find the second announcement. Take it away. Walk a little further down and you will find the last poster. Get rid of it.
Next, just go down to the lower platform to meet other gang members and talk to them. As a result, you will unlock the second ending.
Ending 3: Enforcement of the Laws!

After talking with Kuki Shinobu, all gang members will disappear somewhere, so you have to find them (when talking with them, you can choose any answers, as this will not affect the ending).
Where to find Mamoru: He climbed onto the roof of the "Aisa" bathhouse in the city of Inazuma. A hint about finding him can be obtained from Aikawa Susuma (it is not necessary to talk to him).
Where to find Genta: Head to the Bangtan Sango Detective Agency located in the lower part of the city. The desired character can be found under the bridge. A hint about his whereabouts is given by kids playing nearby (it is not necessary to talk to them).
Fork "Road to the North" :
So, you will need to find the last member of the gang - Akira. To do this, first go outside the city and talk to Mamoru again. Then go further north to the local beach. You will find the desired character behind the crates. Talk to him and choose an answer:
- Come with me. I promise Kuki Shinobu won't hurt you.
After that, you can choose any answers. At the end, return to Hanamizaku and check how the educational work is progressing here. As a result, you will get another ending.
Ending 4: A storm from which there is no escape

Even further north you will see Akira surrounded by kairagi. Deal with them, and then deal with the incoming "buyers", which will be the agents of Fatui. By the way, you will be able to use Kuki Shinobu even if she is not in your team. At the end, talk to Akira and Kuki Shinobu again for the fourth ending.
Ending 5: Arataki Gang Community Service Chronicle

After this choice, you can give any answers, as they will all lead you to the desired ending. However, below we still consider in detail some of the activities.
Fork "Intelligence service" :
After talking with the members of the Arataki gang, you will need to go to the second floor of the Phantom Gazebo. Enter the establishment, go up the stairs and overhear the conversation between Cookie and Sarah.
Before you leave the Restaurant, go up to the 2nd floor and slowly approach the entrance to the room that Kuki Shinobu is in. After a couple of steps, Genta will inform you that you should not catch the eye of the girl. Now you can go down to get the achievement “Upstairs”.
Then exit the building and chat with Arataki Itto. Return to the Phantom Gazebo and talk to Cookie. Then talk to the owner of the establishment Shimura, Aoi from Tsukomomono and Seta. At the end, talk to the members of the Arataki gang again. Once again, we remind you that you can choose any answers. As a result, the last fifth final will open for you.
Rewards for meeting Kuki Shinobu
For unlocking each next ending, you will receive a certain reward. Below is a list of items that you will be given for completing the quest:
- Unlock 1 Encounter Memory: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 3 Guide to Elegance.
- Unlock 2 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 5 Hero XP, and 3 Vajrad Amethyst Fragments.
- Unlock 3 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 5 Rice Omelette Waltzes.
- Unlock 4 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 5 Hero XP, and 3 Vajrad Amethyst Fragments.
- Unlock 5 Encounter Memories: 100 Adventure Points, 20 Source Stones, and 3 Grace Directions.
In addition, for opening all the branches you will unlock the achievement "Chief Advisor to the Arataki Gang", thus obtaining another 20 source stones. There are also two additional trophies that we talked about above - they give an additional 10 primogems.
