In Honkai: Star Rail, Ones Fallen Into the Abyss is the Exploration mission and part of the chain "On a Dry Winter Night". In the course of it, you have to help the miners, find the parts of the trolley and defeat the automaton grizzly. If you're having trouble getting or completing this quest, check out our guide.

How to start a task
It starts immediately after completing the previous quest line called "The Long Wait for the Edge of the Blade". But you can only take it after you increase your level of development up to the 14th level, so you will most likely have to go through a few side quests and activities first.
Having dealt with the indicated requirements, go to Kamnegrad on Yarilo VI and talk to Zele near the entrance to the Big Mine. After talking with her, go forward a little and enter a new location.
Investigate the riots and go deeper into the mine
Approach the group of people in front and a new cutscene will play. Watch it, and then explore the new game feature - "Relics". Equip the indicated artifacts on your characters to continue the quest.
Make your way up the metal ramp towards the quest marker and collect materials along the way (don't forget to open the chest on the right). Once on the bridge, talk to Peak (the sleeping boy) and Elaine, who will send you to Oleg and his companions from the Wildfire.
Proceed further across the bridge and fight the level 18 rogues. As a result, you will find the Nakhodyush robot, which will be useful to you in the future. Keep moving forward while fighting rogues and level 18 automatons. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the pictures below.
Repair the bumblebee automaton (optional)
After passing through the bridge, you will find yourself at a fork. Turn left and you will find a broken robot. Interact with him to activate a puzzle. You will need to connect all terminals by connecting the modules correctly. The solution is shown in the screenshot below.
After fixing the robot, inspect it again, and then start running after it. Walk forward through the tunnel and then turn right. In the end you will find valuable chest.
Continue advancing into the mine
Go back a little to the spatial anchor and go to the left passage. Watch the new video with miners and tramps. Next, you have to fight with automatons and bandits of the 18th level. After dealing with them, talk to the saved people.
Nearby you will unlock a new golden sepal. You can complete its combat tests to obtain materials. Then go down a little and go to the blockage - inspect it to start a new conversation.
Find cart parts with the object finder
You will need to use the Finder to find the necessary details. Press the "R" button to place the robot. Its beam will indicate where you need to go: red means that the object you are looking for is far away, yellow means not very far, and green means close.
The screenshots below show the exact location of the first part. It is located to the left of the regular chest. Dig up Trolley pin.
Now move to the next yellow circle. The second part you need is to the left of the Sepals, next to the crate with orange crystals. The images below show the exact location. As a result, you will find Wheeled pair of trolley.
Find Oleg
After collecting all the parts, return to the trolley and repair it. Then push it forward to clear your path. Ahead of you is a fight with direwolf automaton Level 19, which has a high speed, so it almost always goes before everyone else. Plus, it has extra punches. Protect the characters that he has chosen as a priority target with a shield, otherwise they will take a lot of damage.
In the absence of heroes capable of penetrating the direwolf's vulnerability, the battle can drag on. Don't forget to upgrade your heroes to level 20 as well. After dealing with the enemy, you can go to the left to find energy and health canisters, as well as a chest.
Go back and keep going down. Fight a level 18 patrol. As you go down, look around other areas for chests. Below you will encounter level 19 automatons. Reach the dimensional anchor, but don't go any further down to the huge crystal vein just yet.
How to defeat the Automaton Grizzly
Note that after the descent down, a cut-scene will begin, in which Clara and Svarog will be shown. Immediately after its completion, you will have to fight the boss, so we advise you to prepare for the battle with this level 20 enemy, which is vulnerable to fire, electrical and imaginary damage, before going down.
First of all, you should deal with the automaton spiders summoned by the Grizzly. The fact is that when destroyed, they explode, causing significant damage to the boss. These opponents are weak to electricity and wind damage, so we advise you to take Dan Heng and/or Serval.
Having dealt with the boss, watch the new video with Zele, Oleg and Bronya. After its completion, the mission will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 600 exploration experience, 80 star jade, 6 adventure logs, a phonograph tune Faded Sun and 3 condensed ethers. You will also have access to the next quest in the Sunset Appointment chain.
