In Genshin Impact A Fontainian Message is Fontaine's world assignment, during which you can complete the story of Virgil, who betrayed you while exploring the ruins. Passage of the quest "A Fontainian Message"
How to start a task
First of all, you will need to complete the last mission called "Aqueous Tidemarks". Then teleport to the statue of the Hydro Archon located in Fontaine's capital. Next to her, look for two men with an exclamation mark above them - enter into a dialogue with them.
Luca Rybak and Sonny White Glove will tell you about Virgil and report that they managed to find out where the villain's base is located. They will offer you to go With You to capture the traitor. Of course, you will agree.
Head to your destination
You will need to go to the Elton Hollow, located south of the capital. If you have been here before, then simply move to the underwater teleporter shown below. Otherwise, first swim to the place indicated by the marker. Then swim into the crevice and continue to dive down. Along the way, you may encounter a Fading Old Soldier.
Swim to the wreckage of the ship, near which there will be a huge hole leading down - swim into it, pick up Hydroculus and take advantage of the water current to increase your movement speed. Having overcome the tunnel, get out on land.
As soon as you hit solid ground, a new cutscene will start. Virgil will not be here, but you will find his accomplices.
Defeat the enemies and talk to Virgil
You will need to deal with several treasure thieves, which should not cause you much trouble. After dealing with them, you will finally meet Virgil, who will also need to be defeated.
This enemy uses a crossbow and fire bolts. He can fire several projectiles at once, but he makes long pauses between shots, during which you need to attack him.
After dealing with the boss, chat with him. Then your new acquaintances will take Virgil with them, wanting to have a separate “conversation” with him. This will complete the mission and you will unlock the achievement "A Fontainian Message". As a reward, you will receive 200 adventure points, 15 thousand pestilence, 30 primogems and 2 hero books.
