In Genshin Impact Fishing with Delaroche is a series of secret Fontaine's World Quests, during which you will need to teach the head of the Association of Anglers in the Hydro region how to fish. It will be necessary to tell her how to choose the bait. New missions will be unlocked over the next three days. In this guide, we will tell you how to start and pass them.
How to start the world quest "Fishing with Delaroche"
First of all, you will need get to Fontaine by choosing one of the two possible ways. Then head to the coast, located east of the capital of the Hydro region. On a stone ledge, located right in the water, look for a girl named Delaroche, who heads the local Fishing Association.
Next, go to any fishing spot on the stone structure and start fishing. Here you will need any of the following three baits: sour, sugar or repair mek light.
Once you catch your first fish, complete the fishing. Immediately after that, Delaroche herself will speak to you, who will admire your fishing skills, noting that she herself is just learning to fish.
Fishing with Delaroche (Day 1)
Paimon will offer to help the girl with fishing. To do this, she will advise you to look under water, what kind of bait a novice fisherman uses. Immediately, we note that the task will not appear in the journal.
So, jump into the pond to the place indicated by the white light. Then dive and swim to the marker. You will understand that there is no Bait on the Delaroche hook at all. Paimon will offer to do something about it. Choose any option, as you will need to hook the fish you have on the hook anyway (any fish will do).
Having done this, surface, and then chat with the girl again, telling her "Congratulations on the catch." Give her a hint. After the conversation ends, the first quest will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 150 adventure points and 20 primogems. Now wait for the next real day to come.
Fishing with Delaroche (Day 2)
Return to the novice fisherwoman the next day and enter into a dialogue with her, and then click on the option “Hi, how are you doing?”. She will say that things are not going very well, and then she will take new bait and start fishing.
Like last time, dive into the water near the white light, swim up to it, and then select the bait for the hook. Note that you can choose any bait, since Delaroche will start pecking Fish anyway.
Then get out on land and talk to the girl again. Ask her if you should congratulate her on the catch. After the conversation, the task will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 150 adventure points, 25 thousand pestilence and 20 primogems. Now look forward to tomorrow.
Fishing with Delaroche (Day 3)
Go back to your friend and ask her if she has tried the new baits. She will tell you that her college friends are helping her develop a new lure.
Dive back into the water next to the white light that can be seen if you stand on the edge of the bridge and look down. Examine the quest marker to get an active scent bait. Underwater monsters will arrive on her fragrance, but it is not necessary to fight them.
Get out on land and chat with Delaroche again. Tell her that her Lay Bait can attract monsters that scare away ordinary fish. She will express her gratitude to you and give you a reward: 25 thousand pestilence, 20 primogems and 150 adventure points.
