In Genshin Impact Awakening from the great sleep is the only quest chain of the same name and the third act of a large-scale storyline "In the footsteps of Narcissus". How to start a task
It should start automatically after the completion of the previous chain called "Savior's Rest". Open your quest log and start tracking the corresponding quest. If it does not appear there, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-login.
Enter the current and talk to the giant creature
Go to the edge of the cliff and jump into the whirlpool visible in the hole. As a result, you will be picked up by a current that will direct you straight into the Primordial Sea. Here you will encounter a huge creature, which is Narcissenkreutz.
Chat with him. He is confident that only he can save the whole world from the inevitable apocalypse. The monster will consider everything else a lie, so you will have to deal with it.
How to defeat Narcissenkreutz
You will have to fight this boss alone, controlling only the Traveler. The game will give you a level 80 character who has the Sword of Narcissenkreutz. For this reason, there is no point in upgrading your own hero and giving him any weapons.
As for the boss, he is a weakened version Hydrotulpas, therefore it has similar attacks and similar battle tactics work against it. You cannot pause the game during the battle with Narcissenkreutz, so before engaging in battle with him, do all urgent matters.
Although the pause does not work, you can open your inventory and restore hit points with food. Don't forget to also pick up blue orbs, as they can replenish your stamina and health.
Try not to run near the edge of the area, as the enemy may pin you against the wall, which is why you will not be able to maneuver to evade his attacks. At the same time, the boss's attacks can cause considerable damage to you, especially for water spears - dodge them by dashing to the right and left.
You don't even have to try to attack the boss at this stage, since you will still deal a meager amount of damage to him. When the enemy begins to call for rain of drops, a portal will appear at the edge of the arena. Enter it and you will be carried away by the current. Fly forward, dodging the blue cuts.
Then you will fly back to the arena, above which a bubble will appear that you will need to fly into. Land back on the pad with Narcissenkreutz and use charged attack, as written on the top of the screen. As a result, you will cause significant damage to the monster.
Now you will need to continue to dodge the boss's attacks, and then run up to him and perform a charged strike as soon as the corresponding red inscription appears on the screen. Continue using this tactic until the monster's health reaches zero. Watch a short video with Narcissenkreutz and Ann.
After its completion, the mission will come to an end, and you will unlock the “Immortal Emperor of Mortal Space” achievement. As a reward, you will receive 200 adventure points, 30 primogems and 35 thousand mora. You will also have access to the next mission, “Trace the Stern.”
