In Honkai: Star Rail Critter Pick: Nurture is adventure mission and part event of the same name. During it, you will become familiar with the workings of the Furnace of Life and create your first pet. You will also have to grow rarities and increase the research level to 2. Completing the quest “Critter Pick: Nurture”
How to start a task
Before you can take on this mission, you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- Upgrade your Mastery level, at least up to rank 24.
- Complete the continuation mission of Mastery called "Shine, burn, my star of genius", which is part of the quest chain "The Crown of Mortal and Divine".
Having dealt with these requirements, wait for a message from Asta. She will ask you to help her take care of the new pets that Ruan Mei left at the station. After this, the required quest should automatically appear in your journal.
Use the Furnace of Life and raise your first creatures.
Teleport to the Nutrient anchor and move northwest to the plant room. Here, chat with the robo-nanny. He will start telling you how to use the Furnace of Life to create your first creature.
Interact with the multicooker-like device located nearby. Next, place two parent creatures in it and click the “Confirm” button. Nurture a new creation and you will have an Innocent Coconut Heavenly Cake.
Find the lost creature and check its condition
The animal you created will run away, so move again to the “Nutrition Medium” and go down the stairs down to the marked area. The creature you need is hidden in the far left corner of the room between the containers. The creature will eat the garbage and change. Return it to the Robonians.
Grow rarity using the Furnace of Life
Interact with the furnace again and study the information about mutations that allow you to obtain a rarity. Simply follow the onscreen instructions to create Garbage gingerbread.
Continue raising creatures and raise the research level to 2
Click on the furnace of life again. Set yourself a new goal and then select the green shell and gray filler as shown in the screenshots below. Validate and carry out the nurturing phase. Do it 2-3 times to increase the chance of mutation.
When the mutation finally occurs, feed the creature the Leaf of Imaginary. The first time you may not get the rarity, but the second time you will certainly activate a special mutation. Feed the creature the Imaginary Leaf again. As a result, you will create Rice Gingerbread Man.
You won't get the second level, so keep creating new creatures. To do this, set yourself a new goal. Go back to selecting parent creatures. For the shell, choose a pink cat inside a blue ottoman. There is no need to change the filling, but use the pattern to indicate a cat with a white face. Confirm your choice and begin the nurturing process.
Do this operation 2-3 times until a mutation occurs. As part of it, feed the Ice Core to the creature. Raise the creature again to obtain a special mutation - feed the Ice Core to the animal and you will receive Frozen Pie.
As a result, you will receive level 2 research. Now chat with the robo-nanny. At this point, the task will come to an end and the quest “Hunting Exotic Pets: Caring” will immediately begin.
