In Genshin Impact Underwater Nocturne is task of Fontaine's world and part of the “Palace of the Sea Lord” quest chain, which itself is part of the global plot "Odes to Harmony". During it you will have to explore the Dilapidated Castle, find the “empty score” by solving the Autoharmonic Pipes puzzle, play the “symphony” from the fresco and defeat the golems. Walkthrough of the quest “Underwater Nocturne”
How to start a task
It should start automatically immediately after completing the quest "Shadow over Petrichor". Just look at your mission log and start tracking the desired mission. If it still does not appear, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-login.
Continue exploring the Dilapidated Castle
Climb the stairs to the right of the table with the box and continue following the quest markers. You can ignore the puzzles along your way for now, as they are not needed for the quest. Although we advise you to activate the teleport in the corridor on the left.
Go a little further, interact with the teleportation point on the platform on the right, and then jump down to the cat and a luxurious chest. A new cutscene will begin. In it, Ossie will tell you about the need to find the “empty score”.
Find "blank score"
Move to the teleporter that you previously activated in the left corridor and go to the room indicated by the quest sign. A new video will begin in which you will see a strange whale and talk to Ossie again. It will notify you when the melody needs to be calibrated.
Study the instructions about Autoharmonic pipes, and then start solving the puzzle. Everything is quite simple here. First, go to the right mechanism and look at the wall in front of it to see the note you need to play. Then press the “T” key to activate the game mode and hold the “E” key until you select the desired symbol on your device.
Next, go to the flute on the left side and do the same with it. If you did everything correctly, a rich chest will appear in the center of the room, and you will be able to extract the score from the unlocked device.
Play the "symphony" from the fresco and defeat the golems
Return to the area with the locked luxury chest and place the Empty Score you found earlier in the console. Next, talk to the mysterious stranger who emerged from the drawing. He will call himself Boethius. Listen to him, and then engage in battle with four Praetorians (they will attack you in twos).
The battle can be quite difficult without good shielders or healers in your squad. We also advise you to take Geo damage dealers or those with a two-handed sword to quickly break the Geo Noelle: Protector of your opponents. Having dealt with them, talk to Ossie - you can ask him any questions.
After talking with the cat, the task will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 250 adventure points, 30 primogems, 30 thousand mora and 2 hero books. Plus, you will have access to the next quest in the series called “The Last Day of Remuria.”
