In Zenless Zone Zero "The Midnight Pursuit" is the third chapter of the main storyline, in which you will get acquainted with the Victoria Housekeeping Agency and help its employees conduct an investigation in the Ballett Twins. They, in turn, will help you find the hacker Rain in the skyscrapers. To do this, you will have to restore power to the buildings and complete several orders. Walkthrough of the quest "The Midnight Pursuit" in ZZZ
How to start a task
It starts automatically as soon as you start completing the research mission. "Strange Messages" during the previous quest chain "Chapter 2 Interlude Story - Interlude". Watch the video of Lycaon, Rina, Ellen, and Corinne appearing, then chat with your sister/brother at the video store. Then read the message from the agency leader on your phone.
Head to the Ballet Twins and meet the Victoria staff
Go to the parking lot, get in the car and choose a new location. Once in the new area, go forward and talk to Lycaon. You can choose any answers, as they do not affect the ending and your reward. If you want, you can ask a few additional questions to the wolf. He will advise you to refuse Rina's food if she offers to try the dishes she has prepared.
Next, go down the stairs to the pier and turn around as soon as you reach the platform with the statue. You will see Corinne next to you – talk to her. When talking to her and other members of Victoria, you can choose any answers you like, as they will not affect the plot.
Then talk to Ellen on the right and Rin in the center. The latter will offer you a cream pie when you ask her questions. If you agree, nothing will happen to you - there will just be additional dialogue. After getting to know your new friends better, tell your sister/brother about everything.
Complete the order "Up in the rhythm of dance"
After that, you will have a new story order. Get in the car and return to the video rental. Then read another comic with the participation of "Sly Hares" and read the message from Nicole. After entering your office, chat with your sister / brother, and then interact with the HDD system, go to the "Main Line" and find the desired mission there.
The game will recommend taking characters of at least level 35, dealing ice and ether damage. However, as with other story quests, you will be given a trial squad of Lycaon, Corin and Rina. We did not change it and were able to complete the quest without any problems. Its detailed walkthrough is presented in our in a separate manual.
Reach level 36 of Internet
After completing the task, chat with your sister/brother, then go back to your room and sleep on the bed. There will be no new news from "Victoria", so the main character will decide to work on upgrading his own profile. You will have to upgrade again Internet parameter.
Again, the fastest way to do this is by completing trials in the Battle Simulation Hall, since you can get 1000 experience points in one battle. Next in terms of effectiveness are daily assignments, side quests, and agent missions.
Complete the order "Footprints in the Dark"
Once you reach the required level of Internot, you will need to call Lycaon along with your sister/brother, which will result in receiving a new story order.
Next, interact with the HDD system and find the corresponding task in the "Main Line". The game will advise you to take ethereal and ice characters of at least level 36, but we simply used trial heroes: Lycaon and Rina - we had no problems destroying monsters with this team. We reviewed the detailed walkthrough of the quest in in a separate manual.
Talk to the Victoria staff at the Ballet Twins
Go to the parking lot, get in the car and drive to the specified area. Then go down the stairs and approach Lycaon and Rin, who are already interrogating the captured rebel. Choose any answers, as they will only slightly change the dialogues. Then the head of "Victoria" will want to talk to you alone. Before going to him, you can chat with the rebel again and ask him a few questions.
Now approach Lycaon, who will be waiting for you near the statue. After talking to him, approach Corin and Ellen to give them candy as a token of gratitude for saving them. Again, you can choose any answers, as they will not affect the ending or your rewards.
Complete the "Save Hacker Rain" order
After talking to the Victoria staff, return to the video store and chat with your sister/brother about what to do next. This will result in a new order.
Next, interact with the HDD system and find the corresponding task in the "Main Line". The game will advise you to take electric and ice characters of at least level 38, but we just used trial heroes: Ellen, Lycaon and Rina - we had no problems destroying monsters with this team. After dealing with the Twin Puppets, watch the epic cutscene and read another comic. Return to the video store and talk to your brother/sister. Then go outside and find Rain in the alley. Talk to her about what happened earlier.
Return to your shop and talk to Grace and Kolyada. Then study the audio recording that was on the encrypted flash drive. Chat with your sister/brother again and finally go to bed. The next day, you will unlock the stories of two agents: Lycaon and Rina. This will complete the quest chain.
