In Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) Undercover R&B is a special edition main storyline, in which you have to destroy the Mountain Lions gang. To do this, you will need to get a universal key card by entering the correct code from the locker, and defeat Razor (a rabid strongman). In this guide, we will tell you how to start and complete this mission.

How to start a task
Before you can take on this quest, you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- Reach at least 34th Internet level.
- Complete the third chapter of the storyline called "Midnight Search".
If you completed the episode before patch 1.1, you will most likely have the quest "Echoes of an Interlude" active, during which you will first need to talk to your sister/brother. During this conversation, you will learn about the need to visit the Security Service to renew your entrepreneurial certificate.
After that, the task you need will immediately begin. Plus, a new location will be unlocked - New Eridu Public Security. Move to the specified area and go to the reception desk. Talk to Amy - you can choose any answers, as they will not affect the ending and rewards. Then say "Let's go"
to start a new cutscene and comic.
Defeat the Mountain Lions
Immediately after completing all the videos, a combat test will begin, in which you will be given control Zhu Yuan, Qingyi and Seth. Learn the instructions for controlling these characters. In short, the first one plays the role of a main DD (deals the main damage to enemies), the second one is a sub-DD (allows you to accumulate stun, stun enemies and group them in one point), and the third one is a support (helps reduce the damage received by the team and speeds up the accumulation of anomaly).
Take out all the regular enemies on the first floor (they're unlikely to cause you any problems) and get on the elevator. Once you get to the second floor, deal with another group of enemies. Then go to the new area and defeat the Wanted Brute. Try to stun his Qingyi as soon as possible, and then finish him off with chain attacks.
Go further and destroy the Violent Cleaner. He is weak to Electro attacks, so use Qingyi and Seth against him often to stun him quickly. Beware of the enemy's spin attacks, as they are quite difficult to parry. After destroying him, return to the elevator and go up to the 3rd floor.
How to Defeat Jane Doe
Once you get up, defeat another group of enemies here. Then watch the cutscene with Jane Doe appearing. Next, you have to defeat her and two ordinary bandits. We advise you to deal with the ordinary enemies first, so that they don’t get in your way.
As for the mini-boss, it can be stunned - to do this, try to attack her with Qingyi and Seth as often as possible. When she is stunned, switch to Zhu Yuan to deal maximum damage. We recommend using her ult if she is ready.
The main danger is Jane's dashes, which are colored red. You can try to parry them with a perfect assist, but we advise you to simply use dodges. Remember that the enemy usually performs 3-4 dashes, so do not relax after you dodge the attack for the first time.
Let's add that Qingyi's quick strikes are also capable of attracting Jane Doe and incapacitating her, but only temporarily, that is, even if you continue to carry out attacks, the boss will still jump away from you on its own after a few seconds and immediately perform a counterattack.
Talk to Seth and gather information
Watch the lengthy cutscene, listen to the conversation between Zhu Yuan and Qingyi where you learn that Jane is actually an undercover agent, and then read the comic. You'll also learn that you can pause the special at any time to return to the main world.
Now go to Seth and talk to him. Next, you will need to talk to three bandits: the Overseer, the Common Bandit, and the Smart Bandit, in order to find out the information you need from them. It is impossible to make a mistake here, so ask about everything.
Explore the area around the transit point
Approach the Bandit Guard near the entrance and go "patrol" the area, choosing the option "Right now"
. Read the instructions for Jane's abilities. In short, you need to attack enemies or perform a perfect dodge to build up "Excitement Rush" (the blue bar under your health), and then enter the "Excitement Frenzy" state.
In this mode, her attack power increases, her dodges are strengthened, and her physical attribute anomaly accumulation becomes more effective. Dealing damage will shorten the duration of "Gambling Madness", while defensive assists and perfect dodges, on the contrary, will increase its duration. Don't forget to also long-press the basic attack button (LMB) to perform the spinning kick "Salchow" (can be used once per one Gambling Madness).
Run to the control panel, then deal with a group of Ahrimans. Go through the opened passage and approach the lasers closely to start the cutscene. Then examine the highlighted boxes with junk and pick up the access card from the floor. With it, you can remove the lasers on the right.
Go to the new location, climb the stairs up, avoiding the lasers, and deal with a new group of etherials. Interact with another console to open the passage. Then overcome a small maze and remove the lasers. Continue moving forward following the marker and deal with the ghosts and khati.
Let's add that sometimes along the way you will encounter green and blue canisters (see the screenshot below) - be sure to break them to restore health and energy. Remove another barrier and go down to the lower floor along the ruins. Activate the console and return to the main room, where you will need to deal with new enemies.
After removing another barrier, move on. Start going down, avoiding lasers, and approach the console. Get to a new large location. After dealing with ordinary opponents, you will encounter A crazy psychopath. Luckily, Jane Doe is a very maneuverable character, so you should be able to dodge almost all of his attacks without any problems, especially in enhanced mode. After killing him, go to the last console, which you cannot disable.
Get supplies, a Master Keycard, and a Port Summit tape.
Back at the base, talk to the big guy to avoid a fight. Then chat with the Private and Angry Bandits. You can choose any dialogue options. Having obtained the necessary information, you will need to find a way out of the transit point - to do this, talk to the sentry bandit.
He will agree to let you out, but will ask for a videotape in exchange. You will find yourself in the area of the "Ballet Twins". Go upstairs and chat with the girl with pink hair. She will take you to Lumina Square. Exit the alley and go along the overhead pedestrian crossing to get to the other side and enter the police station area.
The correct code for the locker
Of course, you can't just enter the building, so distract attention from yourself by dealing with the drunks on the street. Once inside the police station, go to the right through the glass partitions and approach the locker. To use it, you will need a code.
The clue says that this is the most common number here. Enter the office on the left, turn around and on the right you will see a report hanging on the wall - interact with it. You will learn that the most common number is 101225. Interact with the locker again. First, select the number "101"

Now go to the control room, but before that you can go to the room on the right and inspect Zhu Yuan and Qingyi's work stations. Interact with the door and leave the area. Go to the movie theater on the other side of the street and talk to the moviegoers to find out where you can find the movie you need. Then go to the alley to the right of the movie theater and ask the contact to take you to Sixth Street.
Go to the video store door and listen to the conversation between Jane and the proxy. You will get the movie you need. Then you will take control of the main character again. Chat with your sister/brother.
Catch the fugitives
Back at the bandit staging area, talk to the Smart Guy. Then look at the comic. You'll learn that the prisoners escaped with the Overseer. The combat test will begin. Run upstairs, avoiding the lasers, and then fight the Ethereals. Once they're dealt with, continue forward following the marker.
Deal with another group of enemies. Then climb a little higher, passing lasers and avoiding the explosion of mines. Approach the boxes on the left to start a new cutscene. Two prisoners will manage to escape, but Seth and the Overseer will be captured. Watch the new cutscene.
How to beat Razor
After watching the cutscene, interact with the boxes and select the option "I'm already mentally prepared..." to proceed to the denouement. You will find yourself in the zero cavern, where the Mountain Lions' base is located. First, you will need to climb up, passing through crowds of bandits and collecting key cards.
You'll mostly have to fight regular bandits and wanted thugs. Access cards will be highlighted with markers. Don't forget to smash green and purple canisters to restore health and energy. After dealing with all the enemies, pick up the buffs on the left, and then climb up the ladder.
Check out the new cutscene. Next, you'll have to fight Razor, who is an elite enemy - A rabid strongman, vulnerable to fire and physical attacks. You will control Seth and Jane Doe. Use the first one to get a shield (use an enhanced special attack) and reduce the boss's resistance to anomaly accumulation. The Tyren Rat will deal the main damage once it stuns the enemy.
Razor is quite slow, so Jane Doe can easily dodge his attacks. Don't forget to use Perfect Assist as well. We recommend saving your ult for when the enemy is stunned to deal more damage. Try to stay behind the enemy as well.
If you can summon Chaos, you'll likely deal massive damage to the boss, significantly reducing his health bar. Continue using the same tactics as before until Razor's health drops to zero. Then watch the lengthy cutscene.
Then the control will pass to the main character. Go upstairs and sleep on the bed. This will complete the task. As a reward, you will receive 600 Internet points, 50 polychromes, 4 expert journals, 2 amplifier energy modules, 1 etheric coating and 25 thousand denni.
