It became known that in the first phase of the patch in banners The following legendary characters will fall: Nevillet (Hydro, catalyst) - the chief judge of Fontaine with unimaginable strength and Hu Tao (Pyro, spear) - the owner of a funeral parlor in Liyue Harbor. In the second half, you should expect the rerun of Anemo Archon Venti (Anemo, Onion) and the release of Risley (Cryo, catalyst), who controls the Meropid fortress. As for the Incarnation of the Divine, the studio will release two new catalysts: Rite of Eternal Flow and Treasury Oversight, which will be signatures for Nevillet and Risley, respectively. There will also be reruns of the Staff of Khoma (spear) and Elegy of Perdition (Onion). Plus, the developers will add a new line of epic weapons that will be introduced into the weapons banner.
Of course, we should also wait for the continuation of the Hydro region storyline. Two new chapters will be added at once, during which Arlecchino will arrive in Fontaine to negotiate with Nevillet and Furina regarding the conclusion of Tartaglia. Let us add that the underwater prison was built on the territory of the new region of Fontaine, which is located in the north. Access to it will open in update 4.1. It also houses a research institute, which is currently closed due to a massive explosion in the past. New world quests will be associated with these locations.
In the new lands, you will be able to encounter two additional bosses: the Thousand-Year Pearl Seahorse and the Experimental Field Generator. They will drop materials necessary for leveling up new characters.
The next anniversary of Genshin Impact is also coming soon, so the developers have prepared a lot of gifts for players, which can be seen in the picture below. For example, you will be able to get 1600 source stones from them.
As for the events, the main one will be “Poetry of Waters”, in which Hu Tao and Venti will play the main role. It will take place in the vicinity of the Stone Gate. In it, players will have to take part in 3 challenges. For winning them, you will be able to receive a new 4-star catalyst, Song of Vast Azure.
Let’s add that the developers are going to simplify the dungeons for increasing rank and change the daily system. Now, instead of going through quests, players will be able to complete simple tasks like opening chests, participating in events, or collecting oculi.
