Yesterday afternoon there was a traditional Honkai: Star Rail Live Stream, dedicated to the imminent release of update 1.6. As part of it, the developers revealed many new details about the patch, which we will briefly review in this news.
First let's look at banners, revealed by HoYoverse. As many expected, in the first phase of the update there will be a release Ruan Mei (Harmony: Ice) - a talented researcher from the Society of Geniuses. There will also be a rerun of Blade (Destruction: Windy). They will be accompanied by the following epic characters: March 7 (Save: Ice), Tingyun (Harmony: Electric) and Xuei (Destruction: Quantum). The latter, by the way, is also a new heroine, with whom the Pathfinder has already encountered more than once during the passage of story missions.
During the second half of the update it will be possible to obtain Dr. Ratio (Hunt: Imaginary) - a brilliant researcher from the Guild of Erudites. There will also be a rerun of Kafka (Nothingness: Electric). Among the 4-star characters with an increased chance of getting Sushan (Hunting: Physical), Hook (Destruction: Fire) and Natasha (Abundance: Physical).
Let us add that Dr. Ratio will succeed get it completely free – the developers decided to give it to the players in honor of the game’s victory in several categories. You can pick it up after completing the story mission “A Moment of Universal Calm.”
As for the light cones, the developers will release two new weapons: Reflection of the Past Me (Harmony) and Baptism of Pure Thought (Hunt), which are the signatures of Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio, respectively. There will also be reruns of the signatures of Blade and Kafka: The Inaccessible Side (Destruction) and You Just Have to Wait (Non-Existence).
The developers do not yet intend to continue the main storyline, but they are going to release a new chapter of the continuation of exploration called “The Crown of Mortal and Divine”, during which they will be able to open the Isolated Zone location on the Hertha space station. It will also feature a main event of the same name, where players will take on a new boss, the bug lord Starbreaker: Skarakabaz.
The developers will also add two new game modes: “Gold and Gears” for Virtual universe " and "Pure Fiction", which is an alternative Hall of Oblivion. In the latter, by the way, you can get a free 4-star Lynx (Abundance: Quantum).
Note that Memories of Chaos will be expanded to levels 11 and 12, and the echo of war “Old Wormhole Crater” will appear in the new location, where it will be possible to obtain upgrade materials for new characters. The team will also optimize daily training, add early access to challenges, and introduce quick progress through the Hall of Oblivion.
If we talk about other events, there will be reruns of “The Gift of the Comet”, “Planar Schism” and “Realm of Strangeness”. New events will also be held: “Hunting for Exotic Pets” and “Scented Adventure.”
