Thanks to recent statements from trusted insiders, players Honkai: Star Rail may find out interesting details about the content of future patches : According to rumors, a combat event against already familiar characters will be released for update 2.5, and until version 3.0 we will not return to Belobog, but we will see many new potentially playable heroes from Penaconia and Luofu Xianzhou.
According to a Chinese informant Firefly Lover, in the intermediate patch 2.5 will take place fighting tournament, during which players will battle against more old acquaintances (such as Kafka and Yanqing), and in unusual combinations: for example, a tandem may come across against us Cocolia And Topaz. And although the source mentioned only these names, the real list of opponents is likely to be much larger.
Mentions of something similar to a dueling event also came from an insider with the nickname Ubatcha, who talked about the Star Express route and new heroes right up to before update 3.0 :
