In Genshin Impact The Jueyun Chili represents local curiosity Liyue required to raise certain characters and cook certain dishes. In this guide, you will find out where you can find and buy this material, as well as how to get it for free.
Where to find Jueyun Chili
At this point in time, this resource is needed to ascend only two heroes - Xiangling And Yaoyao. You will need over 150 of these fruits to fully upgrade this character. They are also essential for cooking. following dishes :
- Flash-Fried Filet
- Stir-Fried Filet
- Rockin’ Riffin’ Chicken!
- Jueyun Chili Chicken
- Wanmin Restaurant’s Boiled Fish
- Black perch
- Jueyun Guoba
- "Qingce Stir Fry"
- "Jade Parcels"
- Minty Meat Rolls
- Mint Salad
Outwardly, Jueyun Chili looks like a bush on which several fruits (flowers) grow. From one bush, you can usually pick up to 3 buds, which greatly simplifies their collection. By the way, we advise you to farm these plants in order to complete the weekly mission to collect 100 Liyue curiosities - in this case, you can complete this task in 2-3 days.
If you are not in a hurry to collect, then it is not necessary to visit absolutely all the places where the sky-high peppers grow - just go through the most convenient places to farm (listed below from best to worst), and then repeat this procedure after 48 real hours, when the curiosities respawn.
Qingce Village
In total, here you can find 10 bushes with 30 sky-high peppers. First, move to the eastern teleporter to inspect a couple of bushes near the buildings, and then go deeper into the village, go to the fields and cross the bridge, collecting the necessary fruits along the way. Next, teleport to the western fast travel point to grab the remaining curiosities.
Stone Achievement: Gate
To the east of the Stone Gate, you can find 7 more bushes. True, here you have to run a little longer. These two places will be enough to collect fifty sky-high peppers, so you can just visit them once every 2 days to collect the required amount. If this is not enough for you, then inspect the locations below.
Mount Aozang
If you do not intend to collect absolutely all the curiosities, then move to the teleport in the middle and inspect the bushes near the river and the gorge.
Qingyun Peak and Skyward Limit
After visiting the above area, you can teleport to a point to the west to glide down and collect some bushes by the pond. Next, move to the Cloudy Limit, where about 20 more Cloudy Peppers grow.
Tianqiu Valley
Here you can find 2 bushes with 6 fruits, but we do not recommend wasting time collecting them.
Where to buy Jueyun Chili
It is sold only in one place - at Chef Mao who owns the Chef de Cuisine restaurant located in Liyue Harbor (see screenshots below). You can buy 5 sky-high peppers from him for a price of 1,000 mora each. Its assortment is updated every 2 calendar days.
How to get seeds and plant Jueyun Chili
If you do not want to constantly search for this local curiosity, then just plant it in your monastery. To do this, you first need to get a Seed Dispensary by completing the quest "The Art of Horticulture", and then get the seeds of the necessary plant - just collect a couple of sky-high peppers.
Then return to the Serenitea Pot and buy the Garden Lot "A Path of Value: Jade Field". Plant the collected seeds on it and wait for the harvest to appear. Read more about gardening in separate guide.
