They are somewhat different from the usual bolts. It is not clear where they came from, but for some unknown reason, these details attracted the melusines. Let's take a look at how to get them.

Note that you can get everything 17 unusual parts, however 4 of them will go to repair Seymour. Thus, you will be able to freely dispose of only 13 parts.

Melusine's errands

Help Kosynzyan grow flowers

First of all, you will need to complete the quest chain "Ancient Colors", within which you will get to know Kosynziana for the first time - it is she who will greet you at the entrance to the Merusi Village. After that, visit the friendly melusine again. You can still find it near the passage to the settlement.

Talk to the girl about flowers. Then select the plant that you have in your inventory (so you don't have to go looking for it later) and give it to the melusine (you will need to give 4 pieces).

During the next conversation, Kosynziana will ask you for help with watering the flowers. Select any Hydro character and hit the plants with water attacks (this is easiest done with a catalyst). As a result you will get 1 unusual spare part and other awards.

Serene

During a task "ItThere Will Come Soft Rains" you will receive 1 uncommon part from her. After fully completing the Ancient Colors quest chain, talk to Serin again, who will be waiting for you at the same place in Merusi Village, to get 4 more parts from the melusine.

Chests

First chest

The first such chest is located near Mamer's house. Jump off the platform into the water and dive. At the bottom you will see the desired Treasure. Swim up to the echolusk and activate it. Turn around and examine the shells behind you. A xenochrome Hunter’s Ray will appear, which you need to hit to get its ability.

Now you can release the blade with the "E" key, with which you can quickly deal with enemies. Swim up to the two shells on the right side (near the crate) and left side (near the blue algae) and interact with them to summon enemies.

Deal with the meks and you will unlock a rich chest. Inside it you will find an unusual spare part.

Second chest

Go to the "Deserted Place", located slightly ahead of the previous location, and look for a locked chest. To open it, you will need to solve the puzzle with prisms and a hydro granule.

First, break the cobblestone in front with the prism next to the boat, thus releasing the Hydro-Granum. Approach the second crystal ahead and use it to destroy the cobblestone in the center of the broken ship, thus unlocking the third Hydro Lamp.

Then pick up a hydro granulum, stand in the water and wait until it turns into a core. Run to the three Hydro Lamps in the ship and position yourself to light them all at the same time. As a result, you will be able to open a rich chest, in which you will find the second spare part.

Third chest

In the same Deserted Place, climb to the top of the suspended tower. Before that, we advise you to eat endurance meals. On the upper ledge you will find a rich chest, inside of which there will be another spare part.

Fourth chest

It can be found in a secret cave located in the Very Warm Place. You can open the entrance there when you complete the quest Secrets of the "Book of Revelation". Just go deep into the cave with the book, and you will find there an ordinary chest with a part.

How to Use Unusual Parts in Genshin Impact

The main purpose of unusual parts is to use them as in-game currency. The fact is that in the underwater village of Merusi you can find a Shop where these items are accepted instead of money. You can find Zana, the owner of the shop, in the northern part of the settlement. Its exact location is shown in the pictures below.
