In Genshin Impact Fontaine's luxurious chests are a valuable acquisition, as they allow you to get pestilence, source stones, Hydro seals and useful materials. They can be found when exploring the Hydro region, performing assignments, completion of tests and puzzle solving. In this guide, we will indicate the location of all these chests and tell you how to open them.
Where to find luxury chests in Fontaine
There are currently 22 luxury chests to be found in the Hydro region. Only a few of them are in plain sight - most are hidden in secluded corners, which can only be reached after performing specific actions.
The map above shows the approximate location of all the luxury chests in Fontaine (including those hidden in the tombs of the deep). Next, we will take a closer look at obtaining them.
Luxury Chest 1
- Region: Beryl District
In the specified location, you will find a locked precious chest. To remove the Hurdle, you will need to bring three fairies to it. As soon as you do this, a portal will appear that will allow you to climb the blue areas to the top, where you will find Hydroculus and a luxurious chest. We talked about this in more detail in separate article.
Luxury Chest 2
- Region: Beryl District
It is located in a hot spring, but you will not be able to dive into it, as your character's health bar will quickly decrease. The first step is to cool the lake. This can be done by solving a series of puzzles, which we described in separate guide.
Luxury Chest 3
- Area: mysterious space
You will need to get into a mysterious space that opens up as you complete the world quest "Book of Esoteric Revelations". After completing the quest, you can move to this area at any time by interacting with the book underground and starting meditation.
In this location, go to the very top again using the portals, and then get to the cliff, where you will see a locked luxurious chest and four houses for the fairies - you will need to find them and bring them to the gardens. We have covered how to do this in a separate guide.
Luxury Chest 4
- Region: Very warm place
It is also associated with the Book of Revelation. To get it, you will need to find 12 mysterious pages and decipher them with the help of a book. After that, a chest will appear.
Luxury Chest 5
- Region: Beryl District
Move to the northernmost teleporter of the indicated location, and then glide to the northeast and climb the cliff. You'll find 3 Moisture Intelligence Crystals and a water ring here - enter it to teleport to the top of one of the giant monster's ribs.
After picking up three hydro-granums, jump to the adjacent edge, climb it and use the water portal to go further. You will be transferred to the top of the rib on the other side, where there will also be a water ring - enter it.
You will reach the top of another rib with a portal that leads to a Hydro platform that is floating in the air. As soon as you step on it, other platforms and a luxurious chest will appear - you just have to climb up to it.
Luxury Chest 6
- Region: Chemin de Lespor
To get it, you need to find and save a plump named Vineyard, who is sitting in an aquarium. Then you have to take care of him for a couple of days. In separate guide we have covered in detail how to do this.
Luxury Chest 7
- Region: Chemin de Lespor
It is located under water on a dilapidated stone bridge. It is blocked by a red barrier. To remove it, it will be necessary to pass three specific Achievement: Challenger. We have covered this in detail in separate material.
Luxury Chest 8
- Region: Salos Sea Plateau
It is located in the western part of the specified location. First of all, you will need to remove the water dome from the echolusk by bringing 3 fairies to it. Then you need to interact with him to find the chest. We talked about how to do it in separate guide.
Luxury Chest 9
- Region: Salos Sea Plateau
It is located in the northern part of the indicated location, however, it is closed behind a water dome. To remove it, you will have to pass 3 Achievement: Challenger - you can find them along the currents emanating from the chest. In separate guide we talked about how to do it.
Luxury Chest 10
- Region: Talat underwater valley
You can get it at the end of the world quest "Aqueous Tidemarks". After breaking the glass in the laboratory, you will fall into the current, which will throw you straight to the teleporter. Not far from him will be a luxurious chest. It is possible that completing the quest is optional.
Luxury Chest 11
- Area: Cours-de- Fontaine area
To the east of the region's capital, on the sandy shore, you can find a locked luxury chest. To open it, you have to find four fairies and lead them to the houses. We have detailed how to do this in separate article.
Luxury Chest 12
- Region: Cours-de- Fontaine
It is located right in the city. Teleport to the statue of the Hydro Archon, go east and drop down from the edge of the area. Fly through the water part, and then land on the ground in front of a building with a large round roof. In the corner of this building (outside) you will find a chest.
Luxury Chest 13
- Region: Cours-de- Fontaine
It can be found on the roof of the Palace of Mermonius. Teleport to the Hydro Archon statue and then start climbing up. Before that, we advise you to eat dishes that reduce stamina costs. We advise you to climb on the left side, as there are more opportunities for respite.
Luxury Chest 14
- Area: Cours-de- Fontaine area
It is located northwest of the capital. You will find a luxurious chest, closed behind a dome of water. To remove it, you will have to pass three Achievement: Challenger. In separate guide we talked about how to do it.
Luxurious Chest 15
- Region: Bello area
Move to the West Face of Mon Atoneki, and then run southwest and go down. You will find several cages near houses guarded by treasure thieves. Deal with the enemies, and then open the cells to release the fairies from them.
Start leading the spirits along the path to the coast. Soon you will be attacked by several more bandits. Deal with them and continue to run after the fairies to the house at the top of the cliff. As soon as you bring them to him, you will be given one deluxe and two regular chests.
Luxury Chest 16-18
- Region: Annapause
You can get them by completing the quest chain called "Anne of the Narcissencreutz". Just follow the quest markers and you won't miss the chests you need.
