In Honkai: Star Rail Jingliu is 5 star character, which has an Ice fighting type and belongs to the path of Destruction. In a squad, she can serve as the main damage dealer, aimed at causing direct damage to enemies. In this guide you will learn about her best builds, light cones And relics. We will also talk about the optimal commands with it.
Note: Legendary Swordswoman of Luofu Xianzhou has not yet been officially released, so the data presented here is based on information obtained through beta testing. If necessary, we will update the guide when the heroine appears in the game.
Main Features of Jingliu
How to get Jingliu
The Sword Master can only be obtained as part of the event Jump called “The Tenderness of a Lunar Eclipse.” The last time this banner was active was during the first phase of patch 1.4. If you want to know in advance about her future rerun, we advise you to bookmark this article.
Note that HoYoverse never gave out 5-star characters during the events, so you can only get this young lady with the help of temporary Jumps.
Progression of Jingliu characteristics
In the table below you can see how the heroine's basic parameters change as her level increases.
Level | Attack Power | Protection | HP | Speed |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 92 | 66 | 195 | 96 |
20 | 180 | 129 | 381 | 96 |
40 | 347 | 248 | 733 | 96 |
60 | 513 | 366 | 1084 | 96 |
80 | 679 | 485 | 1436 | 96 |
Note that her critical damage, critical hit chance and taunt are 50%, 5% and 125 units respectively at any level, and her energy reserve is 140 units.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Jingliu
Thanks to her unique abilities, she can deal massive ice damage to both single and multiple targets. Its advantages also include:
- It has relatively large base attack and health indicators, which makes it easier to use as a damage dealer and increases overall survivability on the battlefield.
- At the moment she is the strongest ice damage dealer in the game, which makes her indispensable when fighting enemies who have a corresponding vulnerability. It can be used to fight both large groups of opponents and strong bosses.
- With the help of his talent, he can significantly increase his own attack power and chance of critical hits, as well as advance the action. Traces can increase health, critical damage and speed. All this significantly simplifies the construction of its build.
- The enhanced version of the heroine skill does not cost skill points, which expands your tactical options, allowing for more varied rotations.
- She is able to perfectly play her main role without opening Eidolons, which will certainly appeal to F2P players.
However, this swordswoman should not be considered an ideal character, since she also has her drawbacks, namely:
- It has a relatively low base speed, which can negatively affect the overall DPS of the squad, since it is this parameter that will determine how long the heroine can remain in her enhanced “Spectral Transmigration” mode.
- Her superpower is quite expensive (140 units of energy), but it should be performed as often as possible. For this reason, you will need to either increase her energy recovery or take an appropriate buffer to your team.
- Begins to absorb the health of all team members during attacks while in the “Spectral Transmigration” state. This can put allies in a very vulnerable position, especially in long battles and with characters spending their HP to perform attacks.
- You can’t do without a good healer on your team, since constantly stealing health from your allies can quickly lead to their death without regular healing.
- There are no good 4-star light cones that could fully realize the heroine's potential. Signature weapons significantly increase a swordswoman's combat effectiveness, so it is highly recommended to knock them out in Jumps. All this will probably not please F2P players.
Jingliu's abilities
When using a basic attack "Moonlight" She deals ice damage to the enemy equal to 50~130% of her attack power. At the same time, it restores 20 units of energy and penetrates 30 units of durability.
After using the skill "Incomprehensible Lightning" it deals ice damage equal to 100~250% of its attack power to the selected target and creates 1 level of Syzygy status. At the same time, the skill restores 20 units of energy and penetrates 60 units of durability.
Using a superpower "Swift flowers, fleeting starry dreams", she deals ice damage to the selected enemy in the amount of 180-360% of her ATK, and adjacent enemies receive damage in the amount of 90-180% of the specified parameter. Let's add that the ult penetrates 60 points of durability and requires 140 units of energy (5 units are restored).
As for the heroine’s passive talent - "Transmigration of the Crescent", then it allows her to activate the “Spectral Transmigration” mode after receiving 2 levels of Syzygy status. In this state, the swordswoman's critical strike chance increases by 40-55%, and her action advances by 100%. When attacking, she begins to absorb the health of other party members in the amount of 4% of their maximum HP (she cannot kill with this), which leads to an increase in her attack power by 540% of the absorbed hit points.
At the same time, her attack power can increase by a maximum of 90-250% of the base value of this parameter, and this increase lasts until the end of the current turn. While Spectral Transmigration is active, you cannot enter it again, but you can extend its duration by gaining additional status levels. As soon as Syzygy's stacks drop to 0, the heroine will exit this mode.
Let's add that in this state, Jingliu can no longer use the basic attack - instead she uses an enhanced version of the skill called "Moon on a Frozen River". When used, she deals ice damage equal to 125~312.5% and 62.5~156.25% of her attack power to the target and nearby enemies, respectively. This ability does not cost ability points, but does cost 1 stack of Syzygy. At the same time, the skill restores 30 units of energy and penetrates 60 units of durability (an explosion can remove another 30 units).
It is also impossible not to mention the technology "Hidden Nature", the use of which leads to the creation of a special space around the heroine, lasting 20 seconds. Enemies in it receive the Freeze debuff, and Jingliu regenerates 15 energy points and immediately knocks out 1 level of Syzygy. Plus, the base chance of freezing an enemy with it increases to 100% for one turn. A frozen enemy receives additional ice damage equal to 80% of the swordswoman's ATK.
Traces of Jingliu
In addition to the above abilities, the heroine’s leveling tree also includes other enhancements that provide passive bonuses or permanent increases to characteristics. You can see them all in the picture below.
Eidolons of Jingliu
To unlock them, materials of the same name are required, which are issued when duplicates of the heroine appear, which, of course, is random. And considering the rarity of 5-star character drops, be prepared to spend a lot of money and time on this. Fortunately, even without eidolons, the Swordmaster can play the role of main DD very well.
If you want to further unleash the potential of Jingliu, then try to open E4, which in the state of “Spectral Transmigration” will increase the heroine’s attack power by 630% of the absorbed health of allies, and the upper limit of increasing ATK to 255% (at the 15th talent level) . If you intend to unlock only E1-E2, then it is better to spend these resources on knocking out the signature.
- Tianguan Gate Lunar Attack – Using an enhanced skill or ult increases critical damage by 24% for one turn. When attacking only one enemy, he receives additional ice damage equal to 100% of the heroine's ATK.
- The shadow of the new moon eclipses the Northern Ladle - using an ult increases the damage of the subsequent enhanced skill by 80%.
- The inquisitive gaze of the crescent moon – the level of ult and talent increases by two. The maximum level for both abilities increases to 15. A useful Eidolon that increases the heroine's overall DPS.
- Raised Night Lantern – additionally increases attack power by 90% of the total health absorbed from allies in boosted mode. At the same time, the upper die increases by another 30%.
- Darkness consumes the Celestial Dipper - the skill level increases by two, and the basic attack level increases by one. The maximum level of the first increases to 15, and the second – to 10.
- Eclipse turns into void - increases Syzygy's status level by 1 when entering enhanced mode, and critical damage increases by 50%. The heroine herself receives one additional level of status.
How to play as Jingliu
The entire gameplay of the heroine is based on the use of her talent “Crescent Transmigration”, so your main goal will be the following: you need to go into the “Spectral Transmigration” state as soon as possible and prolong its effect as much as possible. The first step is to get 2 stacks of Syzygy status. This can be done by using a technique before the battle, a skill and a superpower - each of them gives 1 level.
In enhanced mode, Jingliu is capable of inflicting truly gigantic damage. For example, at the 10th talent level and with a base attack power of 2500 units, this parameter can increase to 4500 units, that is, 1.8 times. To do this, it is enough that the average HP of the characters in the team is 2500 points. Plus, don’t forget about increasing the critical chance by 50%.
However, each attack will burn status levels, so after just two turns, Jingliu will return to his normal state. You can extend its duration by using your ultimate in this mode, which also deals increased damage thanks to the Frost Wraith trail. If E2 is open, then you will also increase the damage from the next enhanced skill.
As for rotation, it is desirable that it look like this:
- Apply the Jingliu technique, thereby receiving the first stack of Syzygy status at the beginning of the battle.
- Use a normal skill to deal ice damage to one enemy and gain a second level of status. After this, the “Spectral Transmigration” mode is activated.
- Let us remind you that in this state the heroine’s action automatically advances by 100%, so she will be able to immediately perform the second move in a row. As part of it, activate an enhanced skill by spending 1 stack of Syzygy and taking away the health of other squad members.
- By this point, you will most likely already have your ultimate ready, so use it to gain an additional level of status and deal increased damage to enemies.
- Now you can use an enhanced skill twice without spending skill points. Then Jingliu will return to his normal state.
- Next, you will have a choice: either sacrifice your time and accumulate stacks of status with a combination of 2 skills, or lose the 20% increase in damage to your ult and gain status levels with a combination of a skill and a superpower.
In the last step, your decision will largely depend on the situation on the battlefield and the supports available in the squad. For example, with Armor you will be able to quickly use the skill twice, saving the ult for the enhanced mode.
Best builds for Jingliu
Best Light Cones
Try to choose a weapon from the Path of Destruction that increases attack power, the character's overall damage, or his critical damage. Light cones will also be useful, as they can enhance the skill. The table below presents some of the most interesting options.
Name | Characteristics | Ability |
---|---|---|
From now on I will be the sword myself (5 stars) |
HP: 53~1164 Attack Power: 26~582 Defense: 18~397 |
Increases critical damage by 20-32%. Grants 1 stack of Lunar Eclipse when an ally is attacked or has low health. Each level increases the damage of the next hit by 14-24%. You can get a maximum of 3 stacks. At the last level, the next attack ignores 12-20% of the enemy's defense. The buff is removed after an attack is made. A signature for Jingliu, which increases all the parameters she needs. Thanks to the heroine's talent, the weapon's passive will almost always work. |
Something irreplaceable (5 stars) |
HP: 1164 ATK: 582 DEF: 396 |
Increases attack power by 24-40%. After destroying an enemy or receiving a blow, immediately restores health equal to 8-12% of the attack power. The wearer's damage increases by 24-40% until the end of the next turn. The bonus does not stack and is activated only once per turn. Gives a significant increase to attack power, which determines the damage of Jingliu's abilities. The passive will work quite often, because the swordswoman has a relatively high taunt (like Clara), so she will often be attacked. Plus, with her deadly attacks she will be the one who will finish off most of the enemies. |
About the Fall of Aeon (5 stars) |
HP: 1058 ATK: 529 DEF: 396 |
Increases the wearer's attack power by 8-16% in the current fight each time he attacks an enemy. Stacks up to four times. If the vulnerability is broken, the damage increases by 12-24% for two turns. The main advantage of this cone is that it is free, as you can get it from Herta's store in Virtual universe and awaken to maximum level. Although it gives a good increase in attack power and overall damage, it is still significantly inferior to the signature. |
Inaccessible side (5 stars) |
HP: 57~1270 Attack Power: 26~582 Defense: 15~330 |
Increases the chance of inflicting crit. hit and health by 18-30%. When receiving an attack or decreasing health, the hero's damage increases by 24-40%. The buff disappears after using an attack. You can give it to Jingliu if for some reason you have Blade’s signature, but don’t have Blade himself. Crete. chance is less useful to her than crit. damage, but it definitely won’t cause any harm. The main thing is to make sure that it does not exceed 100% in enhanced mode. As we noted above, due to the high taunt, the swordswoman will be attacked often, so the passive should work often. |
Secret Oath (4 stars) |
HP: 1058 ATK: 476 DEF: 264 |
Increases damage by 20-40% and deals an additional 20-40% damage to selected enemies with a higher percentage of health than the wearer. It increases Jingliu's overall damage quite well, especially in a fully awakened state. But the passive will not always work, since the swordswoman spends the health of her allies, and not her own. In the absence of a bonus from a passive ability, it loses in damage to the next cone. |
Under Blue Skies (4 stars) |
HP: 43~952 Attack Power: 21~476 Defense: 15~330 |
Increases attack power by 16-32%. If you defeat an enemy, increases the chance of landing a critical hit by 12-24% for 3 turns. As we noted above, Jingliu requires a crit. damage, not crit chance, but if you have no alternative, then you can use this option. In addition, it increases attack power by a significant amount. |
Nowhere to Run (4 stars) |
HP: 43~952 Attack Power: 21~529 Protection: 12~264 |
Increases attack power by 24-48%. After defeating an enemy, heals the owner by 12-24% of his attack power. Significantly increases ATK, which increases Jingliu's overall damage, and heals her. This is a good weapon, however, it can be obtained from the Battle Pass, and we strongly advise you not to purposefully spend resources on it and then use it on a swordswoman, since the money spent will definitely not pay off. |
Moles greet you (4 stars) |
HP: 1058 ATK: 476 DEF: 264 |
Grants 1 level of Mischief when attacking with a basic hit, skill, or ult. Each level increases attack power by 12-24%. It can significantly increase the attack power with its passive, which is very easy to use - you just need to hit enemies with any blows. But you will most likely only be able to get a decent increase in the middle of the battle, especially if the cone is not overlaid. |
The best relics
As for the choice of ordinary relics mined in corrosion caves, we recommend collecting a full set "Hunter of the Glacial Forest", 2 parts of which increase ice damage by 10%, and 4 parts increase critical damage by 25% for two turns after using the ult. Jingliu will be able to fully realize all the bonuses of this set, however, she will then need either an increase in VE or the presence of Tingyun in the squad, otherwise she will not be able to use the superpower often.
If you do not yet have a complete set, you can combine it with "Wild Wheat Shooter", 2 parts of which increase attack power by 12%, and 4 parts increase speed and damage from a basic hit by 6% and 10%, respectively. At first, you can only use this kit, since Jingliu will benefit from increasing both ATK and speed.
Now let's move on to planar jewelry, which is mined in the Virtual Universe. The list below shows the recommended options (the numbers indicate the priority of choice):
Planar decoration | Bonuses | Reasons for choice |
---|---|---|
Star Arena |
2 pieces: Increases critical strike chance by 8%. If this parameter exceeds 70%, then the damage from a normal attack and skill will increase by 20%. | Jingliu will be able to easily activate the passive in an enhanced state, which will increase the damage from her skill, which deals the main damage. |
Frozen Salsotto |
2 pieces: Increases critical strike chance by 8%. If this parameter exceeds 50%, then the damage from the ult and bonus attack will increase by 15%. | The superpower also causes considerable damage, but it will only have to be used in the enhanced state of Jingliu, which is not always possible. So in terms of damage, this decoration is still inferior to the previous one. |
Space Sealing Station |
2 parts: increases ATK by 12%. Gives another 12% to this parameter if the character’s speed is equal to or exceeds 120 units. | It can be a good alternative if it has more preferable characteristics than the previous two options. |
As for the characteristics of relics, you need to choose as follows:
- Body: Critical Damage
- Legs: attack speed/power (first option is preferable)
- Planar Sphere: Ice Damage
- Connecting rope: attack power/energy recovery (use the second option if there is a lack of energy)
- Additional characteristics: critical damage > attack power% > speed > critical chance (up to 50%)
Best commands for Jingliu
Swordmaster from Lofu is a powerful main damage dealer, so she doesn't need any competition in the team, so the rest of the characters should serve as secondary damage dealers and supports. You should definitely take a healer (or a very good shieldman) into your team who will heal Jingliu’s allies, because they will constantly lose health because of her.
However, if you still don’t have enough damage, then you can take another damage dealer, since the swordsman allows you to save skill points. A good option, for example, might be Blade, who also requires relatively few skill points. The table below shows the most optimal commands.

Upgrading Jingliu
How to increase abilities (what to download first)
The pictures below demonstrate the materials and their quantities required to maximize the basic attack, skill, superpower and talent.
- The split, lifeless and all-destroying blade is obtained from a sepal located in the Storage Area (Hertha Space Station) or using Synthesis.
- Sprouts of Immortality, Ethereal Flower of Immortality, and Branch of Immortal Glory are obtained from Abundance Abominations, Quests, and Enemies in the Virtual Universe or through Synthesis. Can also be purchased with unquenchable ash.
- Repentance of the Eternal False Body - obtained from the Echo of War located in the Scaly Gorge (Lofu Xianzhou).
- Imprints of Fate - obtained in the Virtual Universe, issued with a battle pass and purchased for unquenchable ashes in the Pom-Pom store. Sometimes they are a reward in temporary events.
As for the priority of leveling up abilities, it is advisable to increase the skill simultaneously with the talent, since the main source of damage is the skill, and it becomes it thanks to the talent. Then increase your superpower (it may lag behind the first two by 1-2 levels). Upgrade the basic attack last, since you will rarely use it.
How to level up a character
At certain levels you will need to elevate the heroine by spending a large amount of resources and credits:
- Exaltation (level 30): credits x4000 and sprouts of immortality x5
- Exaltation (level 40): credits x8000 and sprouts of immortality x10
- Ascension (level 50): credits x16000, Ethereal Flower of Immortality x6 and Helid Chitin x3
- Ascension (level 60): credits x40000, ethereal flower of immortality x9 and gelid chitin x7
- Exaltation (level 70): credits x80000, branch of immortal glory x6 and gelid chitin x20
- Ascension (level 80): credits x160000, branch of immortal glory x9 and gelid chitin x35
Gelide Chitin can be obtained from the Stagnant Shadow located in Cloud Crossing (Loufu Xianzhou).
