In Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) Inky is a cute black cat that can be found on Sixth Street. You can adopt her in your video rental store if you manage to increase your trust level with her. To do this, you will have to complete special tasks involving Soldier 11, pet the cat correctly, and play hide and seek with her. In this guide, we will tell you in detail how to befriend Blot and take her home.
First level of trust with Inky in ZZZ
Order "In the company of Klyaksy"
You will most likely first encounter Klyaksa when completing the above quest. Access to it becomes available after completing the story of Agent Soldier 11 "The Mole in the Cave" and the beginning of the story mission "Chapter 2: Interlude". Wait for a message from a girl who will tell you about a cat near the slot machines and offer to visit her.
After that, the corresponding mission will appear in your diary. Despite the fact that Soldier 11 talks about the morning time, you need to wait until night. Then exit the video rental store and run forward past Inspector Meowchel and Howl's kiosk. You'll see your girlfriend and the black cat around the corner.
Chat with the fighter. She will note that "The girl in the arcade said the cat's name was Blot. That's a weird name."
. You can choose one of three answer options:
- "Exactly" is the best option, allowing you to significantly increase the level of trust with Soldier 11.
- "Soldier 11 is also a pretty weird name" - Increases trust level with Soldier 11 slightly.
- "Want to come up with another name for her?" - Increases trust level with Soldier 11 slightly.
After finishing the conversation with her, you will complete the first task and receive 50 Internet credits, 5 polychromes, 1 amplifier power source and 1200 denni as a reward. Plus, you will unlock the 1st level of trust with Klyaksa.
Where to find Blot
At Trust level 1, you can be guaranteed to find the Blot at night on Sixth Street. To quickly change the time of day, use the following methods:
- Rest (unfortunately, can only be used once a day).
- Training in the Combat Simulation Hall – choose quick fights with one opponent to use a minimum of battery.
- Combat Orders – Complete the shortest tasks in the HDD system, such as a mission "A truly deadly test" from "Chapter 2 Insert Story" is completed in 10-20 seconds, and the task "Away, misfortunes!" from "Chapter 3" - in 20-30 seconds.
Wait until night falls, exit the video store and begin searching for the Blot. At this point, you can find it in one of the following locations:
- Next to the tuning workshop "Turbo".
- Near the coffee shop "Koff-cafe" - it will be lying on the air conditioner, to the right of the tables.
- In the alley between the noodle shop "Soup Waterfall" and the coffee shop "Koff-cafe" - look at the end of the road, it will be lying on a stone fence.
- Opposite the Toy Store, where they sell amplifiers, she will be sitting on a transformer.
- In the alley behind the Godfinger Gaming Club, where you first encountered Blot with Soldier 11. This time, she'll be lying on a dumpster.
- In the alley behind Department Store 141, run by three Banbu. She'll be lying down or sitting on some boxes.
The screenshots above show all the possible locations where you can encounter Klyaksa. Note that in You can interact with Klyaksa no more than once per day, so if, for example, you found her in the evening, you will not meet her at night - move on to the next day.
Blot looks warily
At the first level of trust, Blot will be wary of you. For this reason, do not try to approach her or pet her. Always choose the option "Watch from afar"
Let the cat get used to you.
The Blot is Sleeping
If you see that the cat is sleeping, then do not try to pet it secretly - choose the option "Watch her quietly"
to increase the level of trust.
Order "The War of the Abyss Needs Support"
When you reach a trust level of a little more than half of level 1, go in the evening (or at night) to the same place where you first talked to Soldier 11 about the Blot. Here you will again find a girl and a cat - approach them. At the end, choose the option "Pet"
- Blot won't mind, which will improve relations with her.
You will decide that you need to buy some cat food. In the morning or afternoon, go to store 141 and talk to John and Roy there, who will have an exclamation mark hanging over them. Then chat with Asker and buy Cat Canned Fish from him (2500 denni per can).
Now, as usual, at midnight, find Blot in the alley behind the arcade and feed her canned food, which will significantly increase your trust level with her. As a result, you will unlock the ability to feed the cat.
When to Iron Blot
You can find the kitty in the same locations as above. At this stage, she will already be used to your presence, so she will not run away if you approach her. At the same time, you will have two options: pet her or get a can of cat food (if you have one).
The choice depends on how exactly Klyaksa meows when she meets you. The following options are possible:
- Meow... Meow-oo... (Maybe she...) - you should give her some canned food.
- Meow! Meow-oo... (Maybe she...) - you should definitely pet her.
- Meow... Meow-ya-yaow! (Maybe she...) - you should give her some canned food.
- Meow! Meow... Purr-Purr (Perhaps she...) - you should definitely pet her.
If you make a mistake, you will worsen your relationship with your cat, which will make it take you even longer to go through this stage.
The second level of trust with Inky in ZZZ
Order "Blot Requests"
Having passed "Midnight Search", continue to increase trust with the cat until a new mission appears in your diary. Then wait until evening or night falls and head to the alley behind the arcade. Before doing this, make sure you have some canned cat food with you.
So, go to Soldier 11 and Blot. Listen to their "conversation". Then say that you can feed the cat. At the end, choose the option "Put the treat on the ground"
. This will improve your relationship with Klyaksa and increase your trust with her to level 2.
Blot and other cats
Sometimes you will meet a kitty surrounded by other cats. Within this, you will be able to significantly increase trust with Klyaksa. To do this, you will need to choose the correct answer options:
- Playing with them slightly increases the level of trust.
- Get a can of cat food > Feed Blot - significantly increases the level of trust.
- Get a can of cat food > Feed other cats > Feed Blot – significantly increases trust level.
- Get a jar of cat food > Feed other cats > Feed other cats – decreases trust (don't choose this option!).
Blot with Soldier 11
When your trust level is between 2 and 3, you will be able to meet Blot and Soldier 11 in the alley behind the gaming club in the evening or at night. Luckily, you can choose any response options here, as you will be able to improve your relationship with the cat in any case.
Note that from this moment on, the Blot may not appear in the places noted above, but this does not mean that it is not there, that is, you you need to pass by the specified locations, to trigger the beginning of the cutscene with the appearance of the cat. After that, you will again have to decide what to do with her - pet or feed - depending on her meows.
The third level of trust with Inky in ZZZ
Order "Eat, Blot"
When the level of trust with the cat is close to 3, a new mission will appear in your diary. Wait until evening or night, and then go to the alley behind the arcade. You will find Blot on a dumpster, next to which Soldier 11 will be standing. Approach them.
You can choose any answer options when talking to Soldier 11, since in any case you will increase the level of trust with Klyaksa, moving it to level 3.
Hide and Seek with Blot
At this stage, the cat will sometimes want to play with you. The meeting will take place near the exit of the video rental store, so visit this location when searching for Blot. Be sure to choose the option "Play with her a little"

Next, you will have to play hide and seek with the cat, finding it 2 times to improve your relationship with it as much as possible. Below we will indicate all the places where Blot can hide.
She can be found behind Howl's kiosk and in front of Inspector Meowchel - she will be lying on some boxes.
She can be found to the left of the Toy Store where they sell amplifiers - she sits between two buildings.
It can be found on a chair behind Mr. Panda, near the entrance to the Koff Cafe.
She can be found on a tire in the alley behind Inspector Meowchel.
It can be found in the back of a truck parked to the left of the 141 store where the three Banbu are sold.
It can be found inside a concrete pipe located behind the aforementioned truck and to the right of the Godfinger Gaming Club.
The fourth level of trust with Inky in ZZZ
Order "Meeting with Blot"
Having raised the trust level to almost 4, you will receive a message from Soldier 11 on your Knock-Knock. Read it and agree to meet her and the cat near the same trash container as before, in the evening or at night. Chat with the girl, choosing any answer options. As a result, you will pump up your relationship with Klyaksa to the maximum level.
Adopt Blot
After completing the previous mission, wait until the next evening and read a new message from Soldier 11. She will want to meet you near the video rental store to chat with you about something important. Go to meet her. The girl will bring a black cat with her and offer to shelter it.
Agree to her offer, and then come up with a new name for the cat. Note that it will not be possible to change the nickname later, so choose wisely. You will also unlock a secret achievement called "Hooray for a Cat!", which gives 5 Polychromes.
