In Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) HIA Commemorative Coins are special collectibles that can be collected to obtain valuable rewards. These strange tokens are hidden in nooks and crannies of New Eridu or are given out for helping the locals. In this guide, we will tell you where to find them and who to give them to for a reward.
Where to find all HIA Commemorative Coins in ZZZ
Events that award AIC tokens are marked either by a special glow on some objects or by a gray dialogue circle above the heads of citizens. Pay attention to these signs, and you are more likely to stumble upon them.
You should also know that many coin activities only occur at certain times of the day. In the relevant guides, we always indicate when exactly to look for a particular coin. To quickly scroll through time, you can use the following methods:
- Rest (unfortunately, can only be used once a day).
- Training in the Combat Simulation Hall – choose quick fights with one opponent to use a minimum of battery.
- Combat Orders – Complete the shortest tasks in the HDD system, such as a mission "A truly deadly test" from "Chapter 2 Insert Story" is completed in 10-20 seconds, and the task "Away, misfortunes!" from "Chapter 3" - in 20-30 seconds.
However, even if all conditions are met, you may not find the event on the spot. Then try the following tips:
- Wait until the next day and return to the specified location at the required time;
- If there is a quest near the place, try to start it or complete it right away (we are talking about both full-fledged missions and small assignments, for example, Meowchel's tests);
- Complete the activities on the map with tokens and return to the place a little later, updating the location.

Construction site on Kazarok street
- Access to collection: opens after starting the story mission "A call from the depths of the cavern?.." and upon reaching approximately 24th Internet level.

Lumina Square
- Access to collection: opens after starting the story mission "Chapter 2: Interlude" and upon reaching approximately the 30th level of Internet.

What are the AIC Commemorative Coins in ZZZ for?
Rewards from the Sage in the Barrel
The main purpose of the commemorative tokens is to transfer them to the so-called Sage in the Barrel, and coins from different locations must be transferred to different characters.
The Sage in the Barrel on Sixth Street
You can find him to the right of the 141 store, which is run by 3 banbu. The trash can you need is in the corner next to the green moped. You can give him the coins you collected on Sixth Street and the Construction Site on Kazarok Street. As a reward, you will receive:
- 112.5 thousand denny
- Expert journals x18
- Amplifier energy module x21
Important: The Sage in the Barrel does not take all of the AIC coins you have, so you will always have one coin left as a souvenir.
The Sage in the Barrel at Lumina Square
You can find him near the entrance to the AIC club. There will be a separate checkpoint leading to him. You can give him the coins collected in Lumina Square and in the Balett Twins District. As a reward, you will receive:
- 62.5 thousand denny
- Expert journals x10
- Energy modules of amplifier x15
- Banbu Widgets x5
- Ethereal Coatings x15
Note that currently, only 25 commemorative coins out of 35 possible can be given to him. Most likely, the remaining tokens will be given later, when new locations are released.
Inspector Meowchel's Medals
Note that for collecting all the AIC commemorative coins in each location, you will unlock the corresponding medals from Inspector Meowchel, receiving polychromes, denny and pumping materials as a reward. For this reason, do not forget to visit this mascot after collecting tokens in a particular area.
