Who is the Mountain King's Fang suitable for?
With a bonus to critical chance, as well as a buff to elemental skill damage and elemental burst, this greatsword is suitable for both primary and secondary damage dealers. Characters playing in squads with Elemental Reaction: Burning or Bloom will benefit the most from the greatsword.
The most profitable way to give the Mountain King's Fang is to:
Character | Advantages |
---|---|
Kinich |
Fang of the Mountain King is Kinich's signature weapon and fully buffs the hero. Kinich deals most of his damage through an elemental skill, which will receive a significant boost through the Fang's passive. |
Both her primary and passive weapon bonuses are useful for her in a DPS build. Dehya's passive talent increases her survivability in the game through Elemental Reaction: Burning and Blooming, while her weapon will buff her main sources of damage - Elemental Burst and Pocket Elemental Skill. | |
In addition to Diluc being able to inflict Pyro status on enemies to activate Bloom and Elemental Reaction: Burning reactions, he can also gain 3 levels of Blessing of the Crowns in 1.5 seconds thanks to three charges of the Elemental Skill. | |
After the Elemental Burst is activated, the cooldown of Ka Ming's Elemental Skill is greatly reduced, potentially allowing Ka Ming to frequently cast the Elemental Skill and maintain a high level of Cron Blessing on his own. |
How to play with Fang of the Mountain King
This weapon is best suited for characters that deal the most damage from Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. To achieve maximum damage with this two-handed weapon, it is recommended to use units that play through Elemental Reaction: Burning or Blooming: this way you can gain more levels of Cron Blessing.
If your primary damage dealer has an elemental skill with a cooldown of less than six seconds, you can activate the elemental skill of the damage dealer at the beginning of the rotation, then switch to a support to activate the reaction Elemental Reaction: Burning or Bloom, and then return to the primary damage dealer and press the elemental skill with the elemental burst. Otherwise, you can immediately launch the necessary reactions through other characters in the squad, and then activate the elemental skill and the Elemental Burst of the hero with the Fang of the Mountain King. With such a rotation, you will have up to five stacks of Blessing of the Crowns, and you will additionally gain 3 levels every two seconds while the squad's supports activate elemental reactions from the pocket.
