How to get to Natlan in Genshin Impact: all the ways

IN Genshin Impact There are several ways to get to Natlan, which was added in the 5.0 update. Some of them are story-related, while others allow you to reach the Pyro region much earlier. In this guide, we will go over each method so that you can choose the one that suits you best.

How to get to Natlan

The first way: according to the plot

The easiest, but also the longest method. To use it, you will need to complete the quest chains of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine, fulfilling the following conditions:

• Get at least Adventure Rank 40. We've given some helpful tips on how to increase it in in a separate article.
• Complete the Archons' quest called "A Bedtime Story", which is the sixth chapter of the fourth story Thoma.

After this, you should have access to the task "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn". At the very beginning, you will go to Port Romaritime Flower, located in Fontaine, to say goodbye to your friends. Then use the teleporter to the west of the Hadramavet Desert and begin moving along the story to activate the first Pyro Archon statue, so that you can then move to a new area at any time.

Quick start function

You can use the new option to start this mission much earlier - all you need to do is reach Adventure Rank 28 and complete the story mission "A New Star Approaches". Note that this feature will be available until patch 6.0 is released.

Method 2: Get to Natlan on your own

But what about newbies who have characters at their disposal that require local Natlan curiosities to level up? Fortunately, unlike Inazuma, you can get to this region almost at the very beginning of the game, and you don’t even have to travel huge distances to do so.

The first thing you will need to do is complete the Archons' quest called "Song of the Dragon and Freedom". After this, a teleport will automatically unlock to the west of the Hadramavet Desert, moving to which will take you to the border between Sumeru and Natlan.

Next, start moving along the road to the west until you come to the settlement of the Children of Echoes. Continue walking in the western direction, climbing up the stone steps to the top, and activate the statue of the seven Archons located here, so that you can instantly move to the desired area in the future.

These are the two main ways you can easily get to Fontaine in Genshin Impact. There may be more routes to this area in the future, such as through Liyue.
