    In Genshin Impact The prelude of white dews and black waves is the first chapter of the fourth Thoma main storyline, within which you have to go to Fontaine. You will have to collect materials to create Magic Bags, watch a magic show, find evidence in the opera house and take part in the trial.     How to start the quest "Prelude of White Dew and Black Waves"

    Before you can take on this quest, you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:

    • Reach at least Adventure Rank 40. We have given some useful recommendations on how to increase it in separate material.
    • Complete the Archon quest called "Caribert", which is the sixth chapter of the third Thoma.

    Having dealt with all the above requirements, you should automatically receive the necessary mission. It will be added to your quest log - open it by pressing the "J" key, and then select a quest and start tracking it. If for some reason this did not happen, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and restart the game.

    Soloist’s Prologue

    Go to the Caravan Ribat

    After moving to the desired location, go to the quest marker in the center of the market square and watch the cut-scene with Dehya. You choose to go to Fontaine, automatically moving to the border between Sumeru and the Hydro region.

    How to distribute magic bags and collect materials

    Lyney will tell you about the prophecy and give you magical bags that you need to give to the locals: Etienne, Augereau and Galatea. The first two are on the pier, and the last one is on the ship. Their location is shown in the pictures below. Next, chat with the illusionist again.

    Before heading to the capital, you will need to collect materials to create new magical bags. This is about romarines which can be found nearby. Select a Hydro character and attack the flower before collecting it. After picking up three plants, chat with Lyney again.

    Intercept the thief and head to Cours-de- Fontaine by aquabus

    After watching the new cutscene, go up the stairs and go inside the elevator. Stand in the center, and then press the "F" key to go up to the top level. Once up, go forward and turn left.     Reach the Beaumont Workshop and defeat the Trade Association

    Jump off the bridge and run forward to the quest marker. There you will find the desired building. Talk to the owner of the workshop named Estel. Watch the new cut-scene where you will meet Tartaglia.

    Next, you have to fight with several opponents, controlling only Tartaglia. However, the battle is not very difficult - just use the skill a couple of times, and you will deal with the whole group. Then talk to Childe again.

    Head to Eriny Island on the Navia Line

    After walking around the capital, go down the stairs to the fountain, and then enter the station and go up the stairs. Get on the lift and choose "Floor 3: Navia Line". Walk left, approach the bench and select the "Wait for Aquabus" option.

    Note: If you go up to "Floor 4: Palace of Mermonius" you can reach the statue of the Hydro Archon, which will reveal a map of the capital.

    Explore the opera house for clues

    After watching the cutscene, you will receive the Magical Exchange at the Opera House Case Log, which you can use to study the evidence and organize the evidence. Now you need to find clues. To do this, press the "E" key. A lot of magnifying glass icons will appear for you to interact with.

This completes the exploration of the first place.

    Start climbing even higher and exit into the lobby. A cutscene with Navia will start here. With her support, look around third place. You will need to chat with the gendarme Tristana. You will get clues about entrances and exits.

    After examining the evidence, return to the main opera hall to find out how Lyney is doing. You will learn the secret of his trick, and get new clues - a magic trick, a magic box device on the stage and a magic box device in the auditorium.

    Explore the tunnel for clues

    When the conversation is over, press the "E" button to see new places with evidence - start exploring them. Pay attention to the clothes, the broken vase, the hook on the rope and the ventilation hatch for the relevant clues. You need to explore both sides of the tunnel.

By the way, you can choose any dialogue options, since they do not affect anything at the moment. You will receive new clues - Lyney story and a voice in the room with the Oratris core.

    Keep participating in court

    Return to the courtroom to continue the session. So, you will be able to call pieces of evidence invalid based on the other side's account of events. For this, it is necessary to use the evidence and evidence collected earlier. You will need to convince the audience that you are right - you can see their support with the help of Oratris (huge scales).

    You will need to find and refute all existing failed links by completing the rebuttal cycle and revealing the truth. Select any link, and then click on the "Search for contradictions" button and start substituting evidence:

    • Lyney enters the tunnel - here you have nothing to refute Furina's words, since the illusionist really entered the tunnel.
    • Lyney attacks Halsey - when looking for contradictions, you will need to select Lyney Tale as evidence.
    • Lyney kidnaps Halsey - when looking for contradictions, you will need to select "Voices in the Tunnel" as evidence.
    • Lyney stuns Cowell - when looking for contradictions, you will need to select "Girl's Clothes" as evidence.
    • The incident on the stage - here you have nothing to refute the words of Furina.

    That is, it is enough to refute only 3 links in the chain in order to tip the scales in your favor. However, the lawsuit does not end there.

    Next, you will need to choose proof that Lyney was not in the tunnel at the time of the crime. Right choice:

    • Strange sound during performance.

    Now you have to determine the real culprit of the crime. After receiving three clues, you will have to choose the last clue out of three possible ones yourself. Correct option:

    Then you need to draw up Coll's criminal plan to see all his moves:

    You will not be able to understand where Halsey has gone, but then you will try to make a new plan. The first three clues will be the same, but the fourth one:

    • Broken vase.

    When things come to a standstill, the gendarmes will examine the personal belongings of the victim and discover a new piece of evidence - the Water of the Primordial Sea. You again have to restore the killer's plan. To do this, select the following options:

    1. Who is the prime suspect now? - select the Cowell clue.
    2. What prop did the killer use to control the dissolution time? - select the clue "Thrown hook on a rope."
    3. How did the killer dissolve Halsey? - select the evidence "Water of the Primordial Sea".
    4. What props did the killer use to hide the mechanism of the murder? - select the evidence "The device of the magic box in the auditorium."

    Furina will build another version of the events that happened, which you will have nothing to cover. However, the disappeared Halsey, who is actually called Lillian, will suddenly appear. The thief confesses to everything, so you will need to disprove the Hydro Archon again, using the new evidence:

    1. Lyney enters the tunnel - there is nothing to refute here.
    2. Halsey's dissolution - here you need to select the "Strange sound during the performance" clue.
    3. Lyney and Cowell are fighting - here you need to select the "Broken Vase" clue.
    4. Lyney stuns Cowell - here you need to select the "Girl's Clothes" clue.

    At the end, leave the theater, but Navia will stop you at the exit. Talk to her. This concludes the entire chapter. As a reward for the quest, you will receive 1425 adventure points, 62.2 thousand pestilence, 6 hero books, 30 primogems and 11 magical enhancement ore.
