    In Cyberpunk 2077 Spider and the Fly is the third story mission of the Phantom Liberty expansion, during which you will have the opportunity to ride in the Barghest car, get to the building without getting caught by patrols, and fight a serious boss - the Chimera.     How to start a mission

    The mission will start automatically immediately after you finish off the last attacker in the mission "Last Flight", that is, no special actions are required, just follow the chain of new instructions. If the quest suddenly does not become active, then start tracking it yourself by manually selecting it in the quest log.

    Bring Myers to safety and disconnect the sensor

    Return to Myers and help her escape the crash site by following the rubble to the quest marker in the northeast.

    About halfway through the journey, Myers will ask you to remove the subcutaneous sensor implanted in her neck. Do this quickly before the scout drone spots you (watch the red gauge). Then sit next to Rosalind.

    Find the distributor in the technical room

    Take the elevator that will take you to the restaurant, but it will be without power, so you will have to activate the generator to restore power.

    The generator is located in the room to the left of the elevator, but if your Strength level is below 15, then you will not be able to demolish the door, so you will have to go down to the lower level by walking along the corridor, turning left and using the metal ladder. Walk forward along the shaft and then go up again.

    Here you will find the distributor you need. Click on the “Take control” button. Next, take a good look at the nearby rooms, as you can find various consumables, materials and equipment in them. Return to Rosalind and take the elevator.

    Distract the drone by connecting to an access point

    Having entered the top floor of the hotel, proceed to the restaurant area. Here the drone will hunt you again. You will need to disable the next access point so that Jay can distract the robot. The right place will be on the right along the corridor.

    Don't forget to keep an eye on the mini-map so you can see the drone's location at all times and avoid getting caught by it.

    Guide Myers through the building

    In the next room there will be several soldiers guarding the exit. You can start a fight or eliminate them one by one using stealth. Then go down the stairs, go past the soldier near the vending machines and kill the one in the small room. In order to get to the emergency exit, you need to go right, to the balcony.

    Get rid of the last soldier outside and go around the building to escape. But you can also go back to the hall if you want to complete an additional objective of the task.

    Get to the building while avoiding patrols

    Another option to continue the mission is to steal a Barghest car and leave the hotel in this armored car. This will make you more visible to patrols, but will also allow you to get to the next point of interest faster.

    Returning to the second tier of the central hall, go down and deal with the opponents remaining near the car.

    Leave the parking lot and go through the exhibition hall

    Once you reach the parking lot, take the elevator and talk to Myers. In the spacious room with the sculpture, you can simply continue along the quest marker, but first be sure to explore this room and the next one to pick up ammo and other loot, as interacting with the elevator button initiates a battle with Hansen's soldiers.

    Hold back waves of enemies

    Continue shooting while Jay takes control of the Chimera in the center of the room. You can stay right next to the elevator, thus hiding from the line of sight of enemies located on the second floor. Having gained access to the combat vehicle, Jay will destroy the remaining enemies, and then... lose control, and the trunks of this monster will turn against you and your partner.

    Battle with Chimera

    As soon as the battle begins, follow your companion and get away from the combat vehicle. After running along several corridors, call the elevator. The only thing left to do is hide behind a column and await his arrival. When this finally happens, there will be a small misfortune, due to which the duo of our heroes will be separated.

    Shoot at the cable holding something heavy above the Chimera - the mechanism will collapse and, destroying the ceilings, will send everyone involved in the massacre to the lower tier of the building.

    Defuse the Chimera

    In the first phase of the battle, it is necessary to concentrate fire on the weak points of the mechanism. If their marks suddenly disappear, scan the Chimera again. Depending on your character build, you can hide behind blocks on the lower floor and shoot targets from close range, or climb to a higher floor and use longer-range weapons.

    As soon as the Chimera's health level drops to 70%, support and repair drones will appear and begin to help the boss and annoy you. Get rid of them as soon as possible.

    After this, the main danger is the laser beam covering either the first or second floor. Fortunately, the columns save you from it, so choose a more convenient place and use your entire arsenal - now you just need to reduce the enemy’s health to the minimum possible level.

    • At 5%, the Chimera will cover the lower floor with gas, so it is better to climb higher in advance.
    • At 2%, a hint will appear that can be activated by jumping on the boss. This will be the trigger for the end of the battle.

    As soon as the boss reaches 2%, you will need to climb onto the combat vehicle and put an end to this confrontation by pressing the prompt on the hatch in the center of the tower.

    All that remains is to pick up the Chimera core and move on to the next mission - “Sleeper Agent”.
