How to start

You must first complete the mini-quest "Onward to Blazing Adventure!" to unlock dailies in Natlan. After that, the quest can drop any day. To increase the chance of it appearing, change the daily quest region to Natlan in the Adventurer's Handbook .

Probably, for the quest to appear, you also need to complete "Garcia’s Paean: A Gift of Compatibility", to become friends with the inventor and receive corresponding lines.

Talk to Grispan

Go to the Sacred Flame Stadium. You can find Grispan to the left of Katerina. The man will introduce himself as a member of the Idle Dreamers Club and introduce you to the organization's president, the cat Grobel. Grispan wants to collect things from which phlogiston can be extracted, such as candlesticks and ash-pots.

Give Grispan a Candlecap Mushroom or an Embercore Flower

If you chose the first option in the dialogue, you will need to give Grispan one copy of the candle or ash plant.

Meet Grispan

If you chose the second or third replica, head southeast of the Archon statue near Yumkasaurus Mountain King. Grispan is already waiting for you there and collecting plants. Then an automaton will attack him.

Defeat the Mysterious Source Automaton

Fight the enemy. For the battle, it is worth using heroes from Natlan: using the mechanics Blessings of the Night Spirit, they charge the automaton and, when it is ready to use the cluster laser, they can inflict huge damage on it. However, any pack with pumped up heroes will do - the enemy has quite low resistance to any elements and physical damage.
