Lorroakan in Baldur's Gate 3: where to find and how to defeat

Players learn about the mage Lorroacan in Baldur's Gate 3 at the beginning of the game, but you will have the opportunity to meet him only in the third act. In this guide you will learn where to find Lorroacan, as well as which side to choose - him or the Song of Night.

Where to find Lorroacan in Baldur's Gate 3

You can find the magician in the Ramazit Tower, the exact location is indicated on the map below. You will need to go to the top floor of the Magic Supplies trading post.

Right at the entrance you will meet a man named Aradin. Talk to him and go inside the building. If you don’t want a mercenary to attack you during your next long rest in the camp, then in a conversation with him tell him that Song of the Night you didn't find it.

Once inside the store, you will see a projection of Lorroacan - talk to it.

Then go up the stairs to the next floor and find another projection of the magician there. She will open in front of you 4 multi-colored portals with signs that say who the Song of the Night is. To meet the real Lorroacan, select blue portal.

The portal will take you to Lorroacan, who will tell you that he needs the Song of the Night. And here you have to decide what to do.

Talk to the wizard and tell him where the Song of Night is. This concludes the conversation.

Go to the camp and tell the girl that Lorroacan is looking for her. She will want to deal with him, take her to the tower, where after a short conversation an equally short battle will follow, in which Eileen will die.

Your allies, with the exception of Astarion, will not support this decision. Lorroakan can become your ally in the final battle. Plus, you'll get gold. Overall, the reward is not very high considering the alternative.

Side with the Song of Night

If you decide to defend the Song of Night, be prepared to fight the mighty Lorroacan. Before you start the battle, which will be quite difficult, you can talk to Eileen when you return to the camp, and then she will help you in the battle. Although you will not receive gold from the wizard, you can then pick up precious stones, a rare staff and robes from the corpse of the magician (the characteristics are indicated in the pictures below).

Tactics for fighting Lorroacan

There is a balcony in the room where the battle will take place - send allies there with a ranged attack. Drink a speed potion first.

The main advantage of the mage is that he is surrounded by four Minions, which protect Lorroacan from any elemental damage. With the help of elemental rebuff, he gives a rather powerful “surrender” with all elements if you attack him directly. Therefore, it is necessary to deprive the enemy of his assistants and concentrate all forces on them first.

Among the four Servants, first of all destroy the one that belongs to the element of air, as it is capable of imposing Silence on your squad. If this does happen, try to get the team out of the effect as soon as possible. You can hit Servants either simply with your hand or with an ice attack.

The wizard himself doesn't have much health, but he does a lot of lightning damage. But when all his assistants are killed, killing him will not be difficult.
