In Genshin Impact A Strange Story in Konda is Inazuma's world quest and the first stage of the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual quest chain, during which you have to talk with the inhabitants of the village, find evidence, find the Key to the well and solve the puzzle with lanterns at its bottom. Passage of the quest "A Strange Story in Konda"
How to start a task
To do this, talk to the priestess standing near the statue in the form of a fox, located between the island of Rito and the village of Konda. Look for her near the teleportation point, not far from the coast. The screenshots below show the exact location.
Use Electro skills on the statue
To continue the quest, you must first attack the statue of the fox with an Electro attack. If you do not have an Electro character, then resonate with the Statue of the Seven Archons to turn the main character into a Traveler (Electro).
Chat with residents and find clues
After hitting the statue, take the Ward from it. After that, go to the settlement and get the necessary information from the locals. To do this, talk to Futaba, Tejima, Imatini Saburo, Saimno Eri and Takeru (sitting on the roof). Their location is shown in the screenshots below.
Then talk to the headman of the village of Densuke. Now look for 3 clues that will be shown on the map. The screenshots below show the exact locations. Next, pass all the evidence to the headman.
Then climb onto the roof and find the headman's diary on it. It lies next to the bird's nest. Next, head to the place shown in the notebook.
How to find the Key to the well
Deal with all opponents and approach the place shown in the screenshots below. There you will need to dig out the Old Key, which opens the well, near which you found evidence earlier. Then go down there and explore its bottom.
How to get through the Electro Hurdle
Jump down the well and open the chest. To the right of it, destroy the stone wall blocking the passage. Walk forward along the corridor and jump down. Reach the Electrogranum. Summon him to go through the electrical Hurdle at the very bottom.
How to solve the lantern puzzle
After breaking through the Hurdle, approach the first light fixture and select the "Clear" option. As a result, a drawing will appear, which is a hint for solving the riddle. Its essence is to choose the correct serial number for each lamp. The number of the lantern is displayed at the top as a comma, that is, 1 comma means the first serial number, 2 commas - the second, and so on.
To change the number, go to the lamp and select "Change Order". So, you don’t need to touch the first lantern, since 1 comma is already marked on it, so we go straight to the second one. The screenshots below show the correct order for all the lights.
Having correctly set the order, go to the first lantern and click "Pray". Next, you have to fight a boss named Ochimusya. Deal with him and talk to Hanachirusato. This will complete the task. You will receive 350 Adventure Points, 20,000 Mora, and 40 Source Stones. Plus, you will unlock the following side quest - "Sacrificial Offering".
