In Genshin Impact Hyperion’s Dirge is an Encanomia questline that requires you to find Offering Stones and complete a series of challenges in order to obtain the Divine Bridle, aka Golden Bridle, required for the quest "The Phaethons’ Syrtos". In this guide, we will tell you how to start and complete this mission.
How to start Hyperion’s Dirge quest
First of all, you will need to complete the quest "The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent". Then change the region to state of eternal night using a special device and start looking for a ghost, whose name is Aberaku.
To do this, teleport to the central fast travel point on Dainichi Mikoshi, and then jump down from the stone railing (see screenshots above). Turn around and run to the wall, near which there is a chest. There you will see two torches that need to be lit by Pyro attacks.
As a result, a secret passage will open. Go inside and talk to the ghost named Aberaku to get this quest. We also advise you to collect 5 key signs of each type, as you will need them in the future.
Find and bring items to Aberak
You will find out that Dainichi Mikoshi designed Aberaku. He will ask you to return three soul fragments to him in order to reunite them with the body. They are found in Gorge, Temple of Eternal Night, and The Serpent’s Heart. However, their exact location will not be indicated - on the map you will see only the marks of three urns, where you will then have to place offerings.
Next, we will briefly talk about the three tests and give links to their detailed walkthrough. Once again, we note that they need to be performed only during Eternal Night, otherwise you will not see a ghost.
Narrow Inquiry
Head to the location of the same name and find the arena with seals where you need to insert the key signs. Here you have to fight with three vishaps of the depths and defeat them in 30 seconds. IN separate guide we told you how to do it.
Temple Inquiry
Head to the location of the same name and find the arena with seals where you need to insert the key signs. Here you have to fight with three rock-biters and defeat them in 60 seconds. IN separate guide we told you how to do it.
Serpent’s Heart Inquiry
Head to the location of the same name and find the arena with seals where you need to insert the key signs. Here you have to fight with three abyss mages and defeat them in 60 seconds. IN separate guide we told you how to do it.
Where to bring items to Aberak
After completing all 3 Achievement: Challenger and receiving the appropriate offerings, return to Aberak at Dainichi Mikoshi. There are 3 urns in which fragments of the soul of the great master should be placed. Then watch a short cut-scene with the restoration of the top of the tower.
Climb to the top of Dainichi Mikoshi
To do this, it is not necessary to climb the tower yourself - just use the water ring left by the ghost. Note that you will not go straight to the platform, but stop near it, so be prepared to glide to the site. You will unlock the achievement "Light and Dark, Dusk and Dawn".
Aberaka will be waiting for you there. Talk to him again to learn new information about this region. At the end, he will give you the Divine Bridle. This completes the quest and rewards you with 250 Adventure Points, 30 Source Stones, 6 Hero XP, and 30,000 Pestilence.
