In Hogwarts Legacy Hogwarts secrets are special tests from the corresponding section, for the completion of which you will receive various rewards. They all involve solving certain puzzles in various parts of the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In this guide, we will tell you where to find all these riddles, how to solve them, and what items you will receive as a reward.
How to uncover all the secrets of Hogwarts
There are three secrets in total. To solve them, you will need certain spells, so you won’t be able to solve these puzzles immediately after entering an educational institution. You can look at them in the main menu in the "Tests" tab.
Riddle with torches on the bridge
The desired bridge is located between the Great Hall and the Library Annex. To solve the puzzle here, you just need to correctly set the numbers on the braziers (shown in the screenshots), and then set them on fire with any fire spell (Incendio or Confringo).
After that, a passage will open to the water channel below, where you will find several chests with rewards. A detailed solution to the puzzle is presented in our separate guide. Thus, you will pass the first test.
Doors with symbols on bars in the Clock Tower
Moving to the Courtyard of the Clock Tower, you will find a huge pendulum swinging along four round slabs with different symbols. You will need to freeze the pendulum next to one or another sign in order to move apart the bars with similar runes and open access to secret rooms in this location.
Spells such as Arresto Momentum and Glacius can be used to stop the pendulum. As soon as you open all four doors, the second test will be considered passed. We have detailed the solution to this puzzle in separate article.
Director's office and access key
If you go into the corridor with statues, where the passage to the director's office is located, then on its other side you will find a lattice door with a keyhole in the center. To open it, you will need an access key, which can be found in Black's office, on the upper level.
How to get there, we told in detail in corresponding guide. It also indicates exactly where the door you need is located. When you open it, the third test will be considered completed.
Rewards for unlocking the secrets of Hogwarts
In addition to chests that you will find in all secret locations, you will also receive three unique outfits:
- Bathing suit for revealing secrets.
- Tailcoat tailored to order.
- Fashion robes - Identical to the outfit that Ron Weasley wore to the ball in Goblet of Fire.
We are talking about ordinary decorative outfits, that is, they do not affect the characteristics of the main character, but they allow you to change his appearance.
