In version 4.1 in Genshin Impact Players can find many amazing chests around the Liffey and the Kinetic Energy Institute. In the guide we will show all these treasures and tell you what decor drawings can be found in them.
Where to find amazing chests version 4.1
There are a total of 20 chests in these areas, all of which are shown on the map below.
“Everyday Life in the Forbidden Fortress”
The first chest on our way is located on the shore, southwest of Experimental field generator. The Treasure with the drawing is guarded by one mek and two Treasure Thieves.
“Study of the Forbidden Fortress”
Head north of the previous treasure. Here, next to the ruins, there is a camp of Treasure Thieves, for defeating whom you will receive a chest.
“Maison Cardinalice’s Lockbox”
Go to The Fortress of Meropide. From the teleport in the Administrative District of the fortress, run north to the dining room and climb onto the roof of the establishment.
“Maison Cardinalice’s Stores”
Move to the southern teleport in the fortress to get to the desired floor. Then head north and go into one of the corridors. Turn right to reach the local post office. Go down the stairs and look under it - a chest with a drawing is hidden there.
Mallow Wood “Sturdy” Cargo Container”
To get this and several other different chests, you will have to decide riddle with actuator valve — we have a separate guide about it.
“Conversation of the Forbidden Fortress”
This is the only amazing chest on the eastern slope of Mon Esus. Walk along the shore to the north of the area and defeat a couple of Fatui skirmishers. After that, activate two pillars pneumusia. The pneuma block is located very close to the desired pillar, the ushia block is a little further, on a tree.
“Burden of the Forbidden Fortress”
Let's move to the southeastern part of the Institute of Kinetic Energy. From the teleporter, go south and find a simple wooden structure with a dog in a suit. The animal is not dangerous, so you can simply open the chest.
Carpet in a restaurant: “Dialogue about equality”
Return to the teleporter and follow the north bank of the river to the west. Near the small ruins you will see a strong bubble horse and a sea hare guarding an amazing chest.
The “Elation of Social Drinking”
From the previous chest, go northeast, towards the mountain. There is an unguarded chest here.
“Royal Purple”
From the Statue of the Archons, fly northwest, towards the coast. To open the chest you need to solve a small puzzle, a detailed solution for which is in our guide to energy transfer terminals (in paragraph 5).
“Maison Cardinalice’s Little Helper”
From the previous chest, run north. In the clearing you will see several orange and blue crystals. Switch one orange Elemental Reaction: Crystallize that is located above the blue flowers - to do this, just attack it. After this, all the crystals will go out, and you will receive a chest.
“Comfort of a Home Away From Home”
You will find this chest during the quest chain "Fontaine Research Institute Chronicles". If the tasks have already been completed and you have not taken the chest, go to the north-eastern part of the Institute - there is an arena nearby automatic supercomputation field generator. Go down to the bottom floor of the ruins and go into the back room to find a Treasure.
Carpet in the restaurant: “Bathing in the breeze”
Move to the teleporter west of the previous one and run north. Here you will see a dilapidated column with a chest. The easiest way to climb on it is to use the skill Kazuha, Wanderer, Venti or characters with Geo structures, but you can simply climb higher up the hill and fly to the area with the treasure.
“Maison Cardinalice’s High Shelf”
Teleport to the ruins of the Central Laboratory and go down to the shore. Here, in the ruins, a chest is guarded by several meks.
Drinking tea on a cool day
From the new Fontaine Research Institute, head east. Go down the stairs and defeat the group of Meks.
Floral Arrangement: “Nearly Aquamarine”
After looting the previous chest, go up the stairs again and go up the slope to the north. There is another puzzle here with energy transfer terminals, so again we advise you to turn to our detailed guide (the puzzle is described in paragraph 3).
The “Contented Elegance”
Head to the southern part of the Institute grounds. There is a small stone pillar by the road, and on it is a Hydro-level intelligence Elemental Reaction: Crystallize . To activate it, collect hydrogranums: at the pillar, closer to the shore and at the lantern in the west.
“Wisdom of the Forbidden Fortress”
Run north from the previous chest or go west from the new institute. Start the Time Trial Game: you need to collect 14 Hydro particles in 90 seconds. You will collect several balls by entering a special stream; then run along the mountain, collect Hydroculus, enter the new stream and collect the remaining particles.
“Steady Stately Stability”
The chest is located a little north of the previous one, in the ruins. He is guarded by two Meks.
Floral Arrangement: “Blooming Purity”
Continue further north from the previous treasure. To unlock the chest, take the pneuma block and use it to activate 4 ushii pillars in any order: 3 are on the pillars and one on the road.
Awards
For each chest you receive one blueprint and 5 primogems. All chests in the Liffey area and the Kinetic Energy Institute will reward you with 100 Primogems.
