Where can I place the Absolute Brand in Baldur's Gate 3 ?
In order to get the Absolute sign, go straight to the goblin camp and find the priestess named Gut. We have highlighted the desired location on the map below.
You can visit the Gut any time you wish, but you must do so during the first act.
Getting close to the priestess will not be easy. The path passes through the Extinct Village. In it you will meet several groups of patrolmen. We recommend not to get into trouble and in all cases lie to the goblins, this way you will move on.
Otherwise, you risk getting into big trouble - a considerable number of enemies await you. However, this option can also be chosen.
Priestess Gut is located in the Broken Sanctuary (x: 299 y: -21). When you see her, enter into dialogue. The goblin will say that she sees something special in you and, without further ado, will offer to brand you.
Please note that only one hero belonging to your squad can receive the mark.
What bonuses does the Absolute brand give?
Having received the brand, the player will also acquire a number of advantages.
- Will be able to participate in dialogues with new lines and other role-playing options. For example, if you meet followers of the Absolute just like you, you can avoid battles with them.
- Will gain the ability to use Absolute-specific equipment such as Battle Shield, Faith Breaker, Gloves of Power, Ring of Absolute Power, Absolute Talisman. The effect of these items on characters who do not have the mark will end immediately after a long rest.
- It will be possible to see other options for the endings of the game.
What consequences does the sign of the Absolute entail?
Receiving a brand does not have any negative consequences. Perhaps the only trouble it will cause is disapproval from some allies (Astarion and Shadowheart). However, it will be quite easy to return their location later.
Is it worth labeling?
