In Honkai: Star Rail Aiden Tokens are special items needed to use Dream Slots, Golden Gachapon and Wheel of Fortune, as well as purchase certain services on Penaconia. In this guide, we will tell you how you can get them in large quantities and where exactly you can spend these chips.
How to get Aiden Tokens in Honkai: Star Rail
There are two types of these gaming chips: regular and gold (limited). This guide will only cover the former tokens, as the latter are mined and used completely differently than silver "coins". We will have a separate article about them.
Let's add that you will receive your first chips as part of the Development mission "Tales of the Golden Age", when you explore Aiden's Park with Firefly. One of the local employees will give you 10 pieces at once. You will then need to spend it by playing slot machines. Next, we’ll look at all the ways to get additional Aiden tokens.
Dance's (Dennis) store
The easiest way to get these chips is to purchase them from the reveler Dance, who can be found almost in the center of Aiden Park. Talk to him and ask to see the goods. You can buy from him 10 tokens 500 credits per piece.
Please note that its range is updated every week on Monday. Thus, he will become your main source of replenishment of chips in the game. By the way, you can also purchase several musical compositions for the player from Dance.
Now teleport to the "Hotel Lobby" anchor in the Dream Hotel (reality) and go to the front desk, then talk to Dennis and select the answer "Why do I feel like we've met before?" You will understand that Dennis and Dance are the same person. As a result, you will be able to buy tokens from him, both in the real world and in dreams.
Unfortunately, the assortment will be the same, that is, you will still be able to buy no more than 10 chips per week. But for exposing Dennis you can get from him for free 3 Aiden tokens.
Clockwork Quests
In different locations of Penaconia you can find certain characters who require gears to return their memories and give you small tasks. Once completed, you will be able to change the emotions of these NPCs, receiving various rewards, including Aiden Tokens. The list below shows quest givers who give out chips:
- Bocci – gives 3 Aiden tokens.
- Emmerich – gives 5 Aiden tokens.
- Forla – receive 2 Aiden tokens from the KMM manager.
- Müllich – gives 3 Aiden tokens.
- Maurice – gives 3 Aiden tokens.
- Pozman – gives 2 Aiden tokens.
Characters' emotions change
Unlike previous NPCs, these “non-scripts” can change their emotions on the emoticon dial using the Clockwork Mechanism and without searching for gears and completing quests. By choosing certain moods, you can sometimes receive Aiden tokens from them. Next we will indicate the required characters.
Claudia
She can be found near the Family Construction Bureau anchor on the Dream Frontier. You need to choose the “Delight” emote to receive 2 Aiden tokens from it.
Mr. Whittaker
It can be found near the Family Construction Bureau anchor on the Dream Frontier. You need to choose the “Anger” emotion to receive 5 Aiden tokens from it.
ASIC
It can be found south of the Family Construction Bureau anchor on the Dream Frontier. You need to choose the “Delight” emote to receive 2 Aiden tokens from it.
Yuan Senior
She can be found southwest of the Family Construction Bureau anchor on the Dream Boundary. You need to choose the “Delight” emote to receive 3 Aiden tokens from it.
Haliburton
It can be found near the Chasika Square anchor in the Golden Moment. You need to choose the “Delight” emote to receive 3 Aiden tokens from it.

You can also get chips by exploring different areas of the dream world and interacting with different objects.
Abandoned ATM
Teleport to the Oti Mall on the second floor of Golden Flash, then turn right and run south up the stairs. At the end of the corridor in the corner there will be a non-working money thrower. How to use Aiden tokens
These chips can only be spent in one world - Penaconia, that is, in other places they are completely useless. There are several ways in which they can be applied.
Slot machines
In the Golden Moment location there is Aiden Park, where various slot machines are installed: golden gachapon, dream slots and wheel of fortune. Next, we will analyze each of them separately and indicate which one is best to spend the accumulated tokens.
Dream slots
- Cost of use: 1 Aiden token
It can drop 2-, 3-, and 4-star consumable items, 2-star materials for leveling up Traces and Relics, and 3-star materials for leveling up Light Cones and characters. The probability of certain items falling out is completely random and depends only on your luck.
Wheel of Fortune
- Cost of use: 1 Aiden token
It can drop 2-, 3-, and 4-star consumable items, 2-star materials for leveling up Traces and Light Cones, and 3-star materials for leveling up relics and characters. The probability of certain items falling out is completely random and depends only on your luck.
Golden gachapon
- Cost of use: 2 Aiden tokens
The only game in Aiden Park that features a Super Jackpot, allowing you to earn a unique "Clock" profile avatar and a 4-star "The Show Begins" light cone.
It can also drop 2- and 4-star consumables, 2-star character leveling materials, and 3-star materials to level up Relics, Light Cones, and Traces. The probability of certain items falling out is completely random and depends only on your luck.
As for the choice of machine guns, if you need a good weapon of the “Nothingness” path, then we recommend spending all your tokens on Golden gachapon. After knocking it out, it will be much more effective to use chips in the Wheel of Fortune or Dream Slots, depending on what you need now - materials for leveling up characters, relics or light cones.
Origami birds
Each location has a large nest where you can talk to the main bird and pay her 1 Aiden token in order to find out where the nearest origami bird may be. There are 60 such birds in total, and they are not marked in any way on the map, so outside help will be very helpful. Psychodetectives
They help you find characters who need emotion gears to restore their memories and give you quests. Psycho Detective Wolsey will show you exactly where the nearest NPC with a problem is if you give him 1 Aiden token.
