In Genshin Impact Washer Octopus are part of the underwater fauna and elements of various puzzles V Sea of antiquity, located under Petrichor Island in the Nostoj area ( Fontaine ). These creatures love to sing around Sweet-sounding flowers, often fall into traps or offer to play, and for interacting with them you can get many valuable trophies and access to hydroculam.
In this guide, we'll explain where all the octopuses are, and how to interact with them to get rewards in the form of rich, precious or luxurious chests.
How to interact with Washer Octopus
In the territory ancient Remuria Spiral octopuses meet three types : normal and attackable, as well as blue and orange. The last two representatives are not averse to interacting with the Traveler:
- Blue usually you have to induce action with an order " It's time to perform! ", and they also often fall into traps/surroundings of aggressive animals or offer " To play With You? ";
- Orange they like to circle around sea cucumbers and are affected by the power of “symphony” (change to “T” for PC → E-key) - with a short press they stop, but with a long press they will move.
If the octopus is in an azure trap and sea creatures are crowding around it, you will have to kill a crowd of underwater enemies to free it.
Location of all Spiral Octopuses in the Sea of Antiquity
On the map of ancient Remuria there is 18 Spiral Octopuses : 7 on the left half and 11 on the right. Below we will look at how to get to each of them and get the accompanying rewards.
Octopuses No. 1,2
- Reward: two rich + 1 luxury chests.
Let's start with the left half of the Sea of Ancient: two octopuses can be found to the north above the Gates of Janus. One creature looks thoughtfully at a shell, while another is surrounded by aggressive animals. These octopuses are parts of a whole puzzles, the specific location and solution of which we described in separate guide.
Octopus No. 3
- Reward: rich chest.
From the previous place, swim a little down to the southeast: on the corals, attached to another underwater rock, there is a cocoon with an octopus, surrounded by animals. Disperse the animals and the trap will open automatically. All that remains is to order the saved one “ It's time to perform! "and watch how he swims to anemone and unlocks the reward. Octopuses #4-6
- Reward: precious chest.

Get to the hill under which " Port Anticus "(nearest teleport north of Janus Gate): There is a locked precious chest here, surrounded by sea cucumbers. They need to be activated by resonance with the octopuses, which you will have to find before this.
Swim to echolusk and activate the shell to see all the hidden places in the area: the octopuses are in the ones shown in the first screenshot above. In any order, find the hidden creatures and send them " ...protrude! " Please note that the octopus, hiding in the gap to the west of the chest, will stumble upon animals along the way - deal with them.
The discovered mollusks will independently swim to the sea cucumbers, after which they will begin to sing. The reward will open a moment after activating the resonance.
Octopus No. 7
- Reward: rich chest.
The seventh octopus needs to be rescued from under the rubble in the south of the left half fallen Remuria. Move to the southernmost teleport, turn the camera back and swim to the area to the left of the transfer point.
Not far from the chest trap, near the wall, there is a destructible cobblestone and a couple of puzzled clams. Pick up a nearby force xenochrome crab and break the rubble, and then invite the rescued mollusk to go " ...protrude! " behind the other two.
Octopus No. 8
- Reward: rich chest.
The remaining mollusks can be found on the right half Seas of antiquity : one of them will offer to play “The Sea is Uneasy Once” against the Sweet-Sounding Flower growing in an underwater clearing in the northern half of the map. Octopuses No. 9-11
- Reward: two rich and 1 luxury chests + Hydroculus.
Octopuses 9-11 are part of a puzzle with mechanical fishermen guarding the reward Hurdle above the Court of Harmony. We considered its solution in separate manual.
Octopus No. 12
- Reward: rich chest.
The twelfth mollusk can be found to the north-west of the previous place; we mentioned it in the general guide to To sweet-sounding flowers (under point No. 8 ).
Octopuses No. 13-15
- Reward: two rich + 1 luxury chests.
You will meet three more blue octopuses on Capitol Hill, south of the castle. About this place and stages of implementation puzzles with three Sweet-sounding colors can be read in another guide.
Octopuses No. 16-18
- Reward: rich chest.
The last three orange clams are floating behind the northern half of the Capitol, on the left side of the teleporter at the entrance to the Golden Castle. Find out in our separate guide ( under point No. 15 ), how to solve the riddle with sea cucumbers growing near the last octopuses.
Thus, for finding all the Spiral Octopuses you will get:
- 90 primogems;
- 37 hydro seals;
- Various resources for leveling up heroes.
