In Wuthering Waves Special Enemies are special red enemies that can be found in the open world. They differ from other monsters by a fixed level and increased characteristics. In this guide, we'll tell you where you can find these monsters, when they respawn, and why exactly you should destroy them.
What are the special enemies in Wuthering Waves?
Special enemies are easy to distinguish from other creatures, as they are illuminated with a bright red light. As a rule, they are strengthened versions of standard or elite mobs and are scattered throughout Solaris 3. To defeat them, you need to have a good knowledge of the basic mechanics of the game's combat system, including parrying and counterattacks.
You should know that unlike most other enemies, their level does not scale depending on the rank of your world (SOL3 Phase Level). For this reason, you should not attack opponents whose level significantly exceeds that of your resonators. Upgrade characters, give them better weapons and an Echo, and then try to defeat the special monster again.
Rewards for killing special enemies
The main reason you need to seek out and kill red enemies is that they drop 4- or 5-star echoes (purple and gold). Don't forget to absorb them. In addition, the first time you kill each special enemy, you are guaranteed to receive an achievement.
When red enemies respawn
The respawn of these monsters occurs as part of the weekly server reset, which takes place every Monday at 4 am. If you need to farm these opponents more often, we advise you to join your friends' worlds.
