In Genshin Impact Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow is the task of the archons and the second chapter of the second Thoma main storyline games. As part of it, you have to fight with the shogun Raiden Shogun, find resistance forces, find valuable materials and defeat a lot of dangerous opponents. If you are having difficulty completing these tasks, then study our walkthrough.

How to start the chapter "Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow"

To do this, you will need to fulfill several conditions, namely:

Immediately after reaching these objectives, you should automatically start the first quest of this episode.

    Amidst Stormy Judgment

Go to the Komore Tea House

Return to the tea house to watch a new cutscene with Ayaka. Apparently, the enemies have captured Touma and now want to sacrifice him as part of the 100th God's Eye Hunt ceremony. We need to help him!

    Head to the ceremony

Now you need to go to the southeast. Get to the required place by crossing the bridge and passing through the crowd. Watch the new cut-scenes in which you will see Toma and Baal. When you try to help your friend, Electro Archon will attack you.

How to defeat Shogun Raiden Shogun

The boss will take you to another reality. Fighting him will not be easy. Some of her attacks are sure to bring back memories from the fight against Tartaglia (weekly boss). She also often spins her spear in front of her and teleports straight towards you, dealing 3 hits in a row. You can dash forward as soon as you see her in front of you to dodge these attacks.

Baal can also teleport to you and create a powerful short-range shockwave. Jump away from the enemy as quickly as possible to avoid being attacked. We add that this boss is completely invulnerable to Electro damage, so we do not recommend taking the appropriate heroes into the team.

If you see that the enemy has begun to swing his arm behind his back, it means that he will soon carry out a powerful attack in the area. At the same time, 3 objects with their own radius of destruction will appear on the arena. Destroy at least one of them to interrupt the casting of this spell, or run away as far as possible. Otherwise, you will receive huge Electro damage.

If you stand far away from the boss, he will begin to swing his spear, sending Electro cuts at you. However, they are fairly easy to dodge. When Baal reaches approximately 80% health, she will activate Eye Hunt, which will prevent elemental skills and elemental explosions from being used. The only exception is the Traveler.

All in all, it's a pretty tough fight. Fortunately, you do not need to defeat the enemy. When he's at about 75% health left, he'll use an instant judgment that will knock you out almost instantly. Watch a new spectacular cut-scene, after which the quest will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 925 adventure points, 30 source stones, 44,000 Mora, 4 hero experience, 8 magical enhancement ore and a Key to tombs of the depths of Inazuma.

In the Name of the Resistance

Head to Tatarasuna to collect information

Time to face the resistance! It also means that you will finally visit the new islands (if you haven't already). First, cross the expanse of water by calling Wavewalker at the anchorage located on the island of Amakane (northwest of the city of Inazuma), or teleport to the Violet Court dungeon, and then use Keiya or another character similar to Cryo to cross the sea.

Once you get to the eastern point of the new island, simply head west a little towards the marked area to trigger a small cut-scene. It will start when you get close to two guards.

After the cutscene ends, follow the road northwest to the camp and you should soon be able to find a vantage point right next to the soldiers.

Go inside the camp and talk to Ikuhara Guy standing to your right. He will give you pieces of white iron. We also advise you to climb the stairs and go behind the large main building. Here you can find a teleporter and two characters that you can talk to to receive a peace quest "Tatara Tales".

Next, plan to the beach to the southwest and find a couple of men there who will tell you about how they managed to escape from the war zone.

    Hurry to the front

Now you need to go west across the entire island. Head south from here to find a tree that seems to be constantly being struck by lightning. This is the part long side mission, so you can ignore it for now. If you hesitate, the lightning can strike you too. To the south of it, by the way, is another teleport, but you have to climb a large rock to get to it.

From here, look west and you can see another Statue of the Seven Archons. Get to it and activate it to reveal a huge piece of the map! Please note that most of the central area of this island is covered by a giant barrier and there is nothing you can do about it right now. This is part of the Tatara Tales quest. So glide down and fly north to the beach and then head west.

Follow the quest marker until you start seeing wrecked ships. There are several ronin enemies in this part of the island. Deal with them to collect various guards needed to level up Ayaka and Traveler (Electro).

When you reach the marked area on Nazuchi Shoal, you will see a couple of enemy guards standing over another character. This guy's name is Teppei and you will need to save him as he is in the resistance. These opponents are no different from the ronins with whom you fought earlier.

    Meet Resistance General Gorou

Start moving towards the desired point from the western beach, and you will stumble upon a teleporter. Activate it and head west a bit - you'll come to an area called Musojin Gorge. A very annoying area with a high concentration of Electro is waiting for you ahead, so your characters will constantly take damage. However, you can swim through the water in the north and land on another beach.

Then you just need to head southwest, passing through the entire northern region. Along the way, you will find another fast travel point that you should definitely activate. Before continuing to follow the quest marker, you can follow the mountainside to the south and look for a character named Kaji in a small camp. Talk to him if you want to take the world quest "The Orobashi’s Legacy".

Now follow the road to the west and you will reach the resistance camp. There is nothing interesting here, so immediately talk to Gorou.

    Help the wounded resistance soldiers

Head west to the quest marker. There you will find a couple of wounded soldiers. Talk to them and watch a short cut-scene. During it, Teppei will ask you what medicine he should make and ask you to give the Recipe Item: you can give him Wolfhook from Mondstadt or Onikabuto that are found in Inazuma.

Teppei will be a little dissatisfied if you give him a Wolfhook. If you hand him the bugs, he will thank you for your support. However, apparently, both drugs will help the fighters. Next, head south to find another pair of soldiers. These guys are archers and they want you to teach them how to shoot accurately with a bow. Well, switch to any archer on your team and take out 20 BLUE targets in less than 90 seconds.

It's very simple. Grab Onion and just start aiming at the dummies. If you have Ganyu then be extra careful and don't use her fully charged shot or you'll regret it. One and a half minutes will be more than enough to hit all targets.

Defeat the soldiers of the Shogunate

As soon as you finish teaching the archers, several enemy fighters will try to sneak into the camp unnoticed. Deal with all enemies. They are quite weak, so you are unlikely to have problems killing them.

Now it's time to repair the fence. Take the materials lying nearby, and then repair the damaged walls. After completing this task, return to Gorou and chat with him.

    Head to the front

The front line is to the east, where you helped Teppei earlier. Go to the sandbank and go to the quest marker. Here you will see Gorou standing in front of Kudze Sara. Watch another interesting cut-scene, and then join the fight on the side of the resistance.

You will have to fight 3 enemies one on one. The first fight is quite easy, as the fighter will throw back the fins after 5-6 hits. The second opponent is also not very strong, but the last one will turn out to be a rather strong samurai. However, a couple of powerful elemental reactions will quickly cool his ardor.

Having dealt with all the opponents, watch the new video, which will show a beautiful fight. You will also meet another new character - Sangonomiya Sangonomiya Kokomi. After a very long conversation, the chapter will end and you will unlock a new achievement. As a reward, you will be given 1125 adventure points, 30 source stones, 53,900 Mora, 5 hero experience, 10 magical enhancement ore and a Memory of Violet Flash.
