How to start the quest "The Ghost of Our Love"

Location for Gryffindor
"Floating Candle Map" becomes available during the quest "The Hunt for the Missing Pages" and lies to the right of the passage to the crypt in the cemetery. This is the same spot north of Hogsmeade where Nearly Headless Nick introduced the player to Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore.
Location for Slytherin
The ability to get a card will appear in the process of completing the quest "Scrope's Last Hope". The parchment awaits the player in a chest hidden inside a room that adjoins Apollonia Black's grotto. The secret passage will open after you solve the pedestal puzzle during the House story quest.

After completing the mission of your faction "Prisoner of Love", you can find the drawing that starts the quest in a drawer near the house in Upper Hogsfield. Focus on the stables of Claire Beaumont, the desired quest item will be waiting for you in a box on the right.

Use the map with floating candles to find the treasure
Take a look at the image: here we see a forest, a gloomy village and a bridge, which is somehow connected with the Lumus charm and floating candles. Use the travel point at the entrance to the forbidden forest, or get there in another way. Now return to the beginning of the bridge leading to Hogsmeade.
If necessary, switch to the dark time of the day through the in-game menu interface, otherwise further actions will not work. On the railing of the bridge is a piece of paper - a love letter, next to which you need to read the spell "Lumos". This simple manipulation, in fact, is the answer to the rebus depicted on parchment.
As soon as you do this, levitating candles will appear nearby and rush forward, paving the way into the unknown - just follow them. Very soon you will reach a place furnished with a chic unusual for this gloomy wilderness. If you are still lagging behind your luminiferous guide, pay attention to the mini-map in the screenshot: you just need to run along a straight road, and then turn up a small hill.
