The Hunt for the Missing Pages is the fourteenth main quest in the game Hogwarts Legacy. During the mission, you will meet Nearly Headless Nick, visit the kitchens of Hogwarts and take part in the Headless Hunt. In the guide, we have fully described how to start the quest, where to find roast beef for Sir Nicholas, and how to quickly complete the pumpkin mission.

The hunt for the missing pages is a unique task for Gryffindor. You will not complete this quest if you choose to study at another faculty.
Other faculty quests that will be unavailable to you:
- "The Ollivander Family Heirloom" - Mr. Ollivander, Ravenclaw;
- "Prisoner of Love" - mission in Azkaban, Hufflepuff;
- "Scrope's Last Hope" - Headmaster Black's house elf, Slytherin.
Talk to Nearly Headless Nick
To find the ghost, teleport to the Great Hall and run towards the huge hourglass of houses. If you haven't discovered the points with flying flames in that part of the castle yet, then use the enchanted compass in order to build a short autopath to the goal.
After the dialogue, go with the ghost to the kitchen.
Get Rotten Roast Beef
Using a spell "Revelio" next to the painting, you will find a page with a hint: "If someone tickles a pear, it will turn into a doorknob that opens the entrance to the kitchens of Hogwarts"
. Do this and a door will appear.
At the very end of the room are hidden tables with rotten roast beef on them.
After that, a cut-scene will begin with the house elf Finki, where he will tell interesting facts about the school of sorcery: why you can’t just conjure food, and how dining tables are instantly filled with various delicacies.
Return to Sir Nicholas
Exit the kitchen to talk to the ghost. According to the poltergeist, Richard Galkrad is the only one who has information about the lost pages.
To contact him, head to the cemetery. There, take the meat to Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore and take part in the Headless Hunt. Only after that you will be able to communicate with the poltergeist.

At the cemetery, Sir Nicholas will introduce you to other ghosts and after a short conversation, he will fly away, leaving you alone. Before continuing the quest, we recommend that you pick up a treasure map, which is needed to complete a side quest "The Ghost of Our Love". Go forward to the coffins, they have the right parchment on them.
Find the location of the Headless Hunt game
Go down the path and find Sir Nestor Emset. He will explain how to contact Galkrad. You will have to participate in a hunting competition. Poltergeist Dumfri will hide his head in pumpkins, and you will need to find it 5 times.
Before starting the game, you can talk to Nestor to find out how he lost his head and why they are doing this to Galkrad, as well as ask about the rules of the game.
Destroy the pumpkins to find the head
To complete this task faster, we recommend using Revelio, the necessary objects will be highlighted in blue. Destroy vegetables with a basic spell.
When you find and destroy a vegetable, try to track the movement of the ghost - this will help you quickly find the area in which he will hide next time.
After completing the Headless Hunt test, Galkrad will talk to you and offer to meet in the Forbidden Forest, agree to complete this task.
