In Resident Evil 4 (2023), the Insect Hive is one of the merchant orders, during which you have to find and destroy all the entrances to the lair of monsters. In this guide, you will learn how to take on this task, and where the necessary passages are located.

How to start the Insect Hive quest
You can start this quest during the eleventh chapter, when you get to a huge area called the Hive. Climb up to the third level and go into the room with an explosive barrel (see screenshots below), behind which a blue note will be attached to a wooden pallet.
Familiarize yourself with the contents of this leaflet - it will ask you to find all the entrances to the hive and destroy them. As a reward you will receive four spinels. There are four such passages in total, and they look like large holes surrounded by yellow bubbles - just shoot the bubble that glows brighter than the rest to destroy the entrance.
First entrance to the hive
After receiving the task, turn around and go outside. Then immediately turn the camera vertically up and you will see the first hole.
The second entrance to the hive
Turn around again and go into the passage to the right in order to climb one level higher. Deal with the insect and turn the camera up and slightly to the left - you will find a hole on the ledge.
The third entrance to the hive
Immediately after destroying the previous passage, look down a little and to the left to see the next opening. Destroy it by shooting the pulsating yellow bubble.
The fourth entrance to the hive
Now go to the north tunnel on the third level, shown in the screenshots below, go up a little and go outside. Immediately turn the camera up and to the right and you will see the last passage to destroy.
Having dealt with all the entrances to the hive, go to the nearest merchant's shop to receive a well-deserved reward from him.
