You can get into Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy only by enrolling in Hufflepuff and exclusively in the Prisoner of Love mission. There are no other ways to visit the famous prison for magicians.

The mission begins with a letter from Leonora Everly, in which she informs that the portrait of Eldritch Diggory in the living room wants to talk to the main character.
By the name of the Auror, it can be assumed that he is a relative of the popular student of Hufflepuff - Cedric Diggory.
To start the quest, teleport to the living room of the faculty, this point with a flying flame is available immediately after the prologue.

The former Auror lives alone in the village of Upper Hogsfield.
If you haven't received yet broom and have not opened most of the teleportation points, then the fastest way to get to the right place will be from any flying flame in Hogsmeade.
After entering the house, talk to the old woman and after the dialogue you will transgress to Azkaban.
Only in this mission can you see the Dementors and the Patronus spell. True, you can’t fight spirits, you can’t learn new magic either.
After the cut-scene, follow Elena down the corridor until you reach the chamber with Anna Thisby, located at the very end of the location on the left.

After the dialogue with the prisoner, you will again find yourself in Upper Hogsfield.
Approach the chest, which will be directly in front of you. It contains a map of floating candles. You need it for the side quest "The Ghost of Our Love".
Turn left, follow the path to the stone arch.
After entering the cave, use the Revelio spell to see the desired cells. Apply Accio to them. The order does not matter, but if you make a mistake and pull the wrong “knob”, you will have to repeat everything from the beginning.

Exit the cave, Richard's ghost will be waiting for you outside. Talk to him and the task will end.
