Spring of the First Dewdrop in Genshin Impact: where to find and buy

    Zorthrus

In Genshin Impact The Spring of the First Dewdrop is local curiosity of Fontaine, which is needed to raise a number of characters originally from the Hydro Kingdom. You will need a fair amount of these unique drops, so in this guide we decided to show you where you can find and buy them.

What is the Spring of the First Dewdrop used for in Genshin Impact ?

He is currently not required to level up any of the playable characters, however this will likely change in the future as HoYoverse plans to add quite a few heroes from Fontaine. It should be remembered that to elevate even one fighter you will have to collect at least 168 of these beautiful drops, so we advise you to start farming them in advance.

    Featured Characters

You can collect these dewdrops with any heroes, but if you plan to seriously farm them (that is, make not a 5-minute sortie, but arrange a real Into the Woods for 30-40 minutes), then we recommend taking several characters into your squad who will allow you to significantly reduce time of collection of this curiosity. All of them are listed in the table below.

    Characters Peculiarities

    Nevillet

Increases the sprint speed of all team members underwater by 15%.

    Freminet

Reduces stamina costs in water for all team members by 35%.

Shows all of Fontaine's nearby local curiosities on a mini-map.

    Yelan

Can cover both large and small distances very quickly in the absence of obstacles using his elemental skill.

The movement speed of team members increases by 10% in the dark (from 18:00 to 06:00) thanks to the heroine’s passive skill “Night Walk”.

Don't forget to also bring plenty of dishes for endurance and add them to your NRE so you can use them instantly.

How long does it take for the Spring of the First Dew to respawn?

As is the case with other types of local wonders, these drops, once collected, are restored exactly after 48 hours real time. Therefore, after visiting the best places for farming, just wait a couple of days, and then follow these routes again or ask to go to your friends’ worlds.

Where to find Springs of First Dew in Genshin Impact

These wonders float in a rather limited area - in the water near the Ipsissimus Tower, between the land part of the Bello district and the ruins of Fort Charybdis. We advise you to keep before your eyes interactive map of Fontaine to better navigate the area.

In one go you can collect about 73 curiosities. After this, they will need two days to respawn, and they will reappear in your world. During this time, you can collect dewdrops in the worlds of friends and other players using the multiplayer mode. To make it easier for you to navigate, we have divided the farming route into 3 parts, based on the three teleports in the waters of Mort.

    Route from the northern teleport

From the teleportation point, swim to the left - here, next to the shell, the first 2 dewdrops are floating.

Swim further in the same direction until you see a group of jellyfish. Here, floating above a large underwater plant, is another isolated dewdrop. Dive a little deeper to find another droplet.

Further along the route you will come across groups of wonders. To do this, swim west, gradually approaching the tower. Dew drops can be found mainly in luminous algae or in shells.

Smaller groups (1–3 dewdrops) are found closer to the surface, on blue plants. In total on this route you can find about 31 curiosities.

    Route from the eastern teleport

From the land-based teleportation point, go underwater and first examine the algae close to the surface to the south and north of the teleportation point.

Then dive a little deeper and swim first south and then west, collecting dew drops above the blue algae leaves.

Having reached the place shown in the last screenshot above, go down to the very bottom and swim in the opposite direction: first to the east, then to the north. The droplets here are easier to see due to the darker surroundings, mostly floating around open shells and under purple algae.

This route is most convenient for fast farming: in such a small area you can collect about 30 curiosities ; in addition, almost all of them are found in groups of 2 to 5 dewdrops.

    Route from the southern teleport

Having moved to the underwater teleportation point, look to the right and left - 5 wonders are floating very close.

To get 2 more dewdrops, swim west, rising to the surface. Next to the ruins and 2 xenochrome jellyfish, you will see a closed shell. Open it with any attack to find curiosities.

Swim north, under the dilapidated bridge - there are a couple more dew drops below.

The last 2 curiosities are located by the seaweed under another destroyed bridge - from the past you need to swim a little to the east.

In total in the southern part of the reservoir you can collect 12 curiosities.

Where to buy Sources of the first dew

At the moment in the game, these wonders can only be purchased one-time by going through quest Pakhsiv and giving her branches of the misty forest, thereby opening her "Shop" in a small cave north of Lake Urania.

Melusina sells goods for tidalia, and for purchase 15 curiosities you will need 30 tidals. We also described the best places to farm these algae in a separate guide. After purchase, the Pakhsiv assortment is not updated, so you can only get dewdrops this way once.
