Tidalga in Genshin Impact: how to find and use

    dzmx_x

Tidalga in Genshin Impact is an algae native to Fontaine. You've probably come across it during your adventures and might have mistaken it for a small jellyfish, although Tidalga is actually a plant. In this guide, we will look at where you can find such algae, and in what areas they will be useful.

    What is Tidalga needed for?

The seaweed itself is in your inventory in the resources section and cannot be used.

In version 4.0 of the game, Tidalga has only one use - purchases from the owner of Beaumont, Estelle. You will need algae to purchase the following drawings:

    Featured Characters

You can collect these plants with any heroes, but if you plan to seriously farm them (that is, make not a 5-minute outing, but arrange a real Into the Woods for 30-40 minutes), then we recommend taking several characters into your squad who will allow you to significantly reduce time of collection of this material. All of them are listed in the table below.

    Characters Peculiarities

    Nahida

With her elemental skill, you can quickly collect curiosities from afar. This will save you from having to climb trees, climb ledges, and get to other hard-to-reach places.

    Yelan

Can cover both large and small distances very quickly in the absence of obstacles using his elemental skill.

    Amber

    Collei

    Venti

Reduces the active hero's stamina costs while using the glider by 20 percent. The bonus is not cumulative.

    Kirara

Allows you to quickly overcome small to medium ledges thanks to your elemental skill.

    Yae Miko

Can increase his movement speed by placing Electro Totems (elemental skill).

    Wanderer

Thanks to his elemental skill, he can hover above the ground, allowing you to quickly overcome small bodies of water, holes and crevices. It can also fly high, which will help you get into hard-to-reach locations.

    Kaeya

    Razor

    Kaedehara Kazuha

    Shikanoin Heizou

Reduces the active hero's stamina costs while running fast by 20 percent. The bonus is not cumulative

    Xiao

    Candace

Reduces the active hero's stamina costs when climbing rocks and other vertical surfaces by 20 percent. The bonus is not cumulative. Can make additional dashes thanks to his elemental skill.

    Beidou

    Sangonomiya Kokomi

Reduces the active hero's stamina costs while swimming by 20 percent. The bonus is not cumulative.

    Mona

    Kamisato Ayaka

Their unique sprint animation allows them to move quickly through the water, making it easier to Achievement: Traversal rivers, lakes and other water obstacles.

    Sayu

If you hold down the heroine's elemental skill for a long time, she will turn into a wind wheel, which will noticeably increase the speed of her movement. Often it turns out to move even faster than sprinting.

    Rosaria

The movement speed of team members increases by 10% in the dark (from 18:00 to 06:00) thanks to the heroine’s passive skill “Night Walk”.

    Dehya

The movement speed of team members increases by 10% during daylight hours (from 06:00 to 18:00) thanks to the heroine’s passive skill “Sunny Path”.

    2x Anemo character

Anemo resonance "Impetuous Winds" occurs, which reduces stamina costs by 15% and increases movement speed by 10 percent.

Don't forget to also bring plenty of endurance meals and add them to NRE so you can use them instantly.

How long does it take for Tidalia to respawn?

As is the case with other types of similar materials, these plants, after collection, are restored exactly in a day. Therefore, after visiting the best places for farming, just wait one day and then follow these routes again or ask to go to your friends’ worlds.

    Where to find tidalia

Tidalga grows only under water. Its largest concentrations can be found near the main city of the region, Cours de Fontaine.

    Talat underwater valley

Move to the underwater teleport in the location and turn east - several tidalii are floating near the algae. After that, turn north and swim a little more.

North of the Salos sea plateau

Teleport to the underwater point east of the Cour de Fontaine and swim north a little. Here there are several tidalia growing along the underwater path.

Continue along the road, go through the arch and turn west. Climb to a small hill - 3 more algae float next to it.

    West Salos Sea Plateau

Start your journey from the underwater teleport south of Cours de Fontaine. Several tidalii are floating very close, south of the teleportation point.

Now sail east and turn north. Here algae float almost at the very surface of the water.

Swim to the indicated place, go down into the cave and collect a few more plants.

    Institute of Natural Philosophy

A couple more algae can be found in the library of the underwater institute. You can get to this location and open the teleport during the quest "Aqueous Tidemarks".

    Chemin de Lesport

One Tidalga grows right next to the teleport, another one grows a little to the north, near the column.

Some more algae can be found by moving along the underwater road southwest of the teleporter.

Travel to the teleporter near the gazebo Vinogradika and swim to it, collecting algae along the way.

Two more algae are located closer to the Beryl area, near the huge jaw.

    Elton Basin

Teleport to the southern part of the location and swim north. You will see the first tidalia on a large plant next to the teleport.

Further you will have to dive even deeper - here algae also floats at the tops of the plants.

Move to the northern teleport - the tidals are again floating on the huge plants to the south and east of the transfer point.

    Village of Poissons

Teleport to the location and fly down the waterfall - you will find yourself in a pond where you can dive and catch a couple more tidals.

    "Very bright place"

You will open this location during the quest "ItThere Will Come Soft Rains". Dive into the pond - tidals grow at the roots of a huge tree.

    Merousi village

From the teleport, go west to Mamer's house - there is a pond with two tidals nearby.

    Where to buy tidalia

    Hinterman

This is a seller from the village of Poissons, whose assortment includes a wide variety of seafood. From the teleporter in the village, go up the stairs and run north to find his shop.

Hinterman sells 10 tidalii for 240 mora each. The merchant's assortment is updated every week.

How to get tidalia for free

    Expeditions

You can passively farm tidalia and many other resources through the expedition function of Katerina. For 20 hours of expedition you will receive 8-12 tidaliyas and 8-12 mushrooms.

These are all the ways and places where you can get Tidalia in Genshin Impact. We hope that this information will help you collect the right amount of these plants.
